    Male Dilemma

Suppose I have a few 100 USD spare in my pocket, do I send it on computer hardware or lingerie for the wife?

computer value depreciates with time, but not the wife.

anyhow, you don't have to purchase expensive lingerie.
worst come to worst, you can admit it's the thought that counts, not the quality ... besides, what do us men know about lingerie ... it's not like we use it ...

    difference in cost

"anyhow, you don't have to purchase expensive lingerie" Serpentarius

    Underwear = Cheap
    Lingerie = Expensive

You get what you pay for, the more you pay for lingerie the less you get

unless you're planning to purchase silks ... then yes, it is costly
just get those polyesters .... besides, you're in China rite? i'm sure u'll get a lot of different options.

skip those branded ones ... women buy exp underwear becoz they wore every single time unless sleeping. but they wear lingerie for (special) occasions only

but to be safe, get those babydolls ones ... women are particular about fitting ... a good present might become a major disaster if you brought the wrong size.

    Simple Rules

"unless you're planning to purchase silks ...", Rule 1 for Buying Lingerie, States any Lingerie has to be Silk!

"just get those polyesters .... ", see rule one. (Simple cotton slips, string tops maybe, but never polyester!)

"besides, you're in China rite? i'm sure u'll get a lot of different options" In China its more limited, No Victoria Secrets Here in Shanghai or similar brands. Except in 'Boutiques' and I don't have enough money to shop in those!!!

"but they wear lingerie for (special) occasions only", depends on your wife
Rule 3 thou does state that the wife has to be able to change at the Gym infront of her friends wearing the lingerie! So that does limit what you can buy.

"but to be safe, get those babydolls ones", a good suggestion, one I have used many times with GF v1, GF v2, GF v1.2, GF v 5 and Wife v1

"a good present might become a major disaster if you brought the wrong size", you only make that mistake ONCE!

Buy a 3 foot string and call it lingerie, and spend the rest on your PC. Problem solved. THAT is thinking like a man.

Lingerie for the PC! Why spend so much when i doubt they wear it that many times. Besides don't a bunch of skid marks end up all over that stuff

Sex only lasts for a short while, computer will last you for a long time and you get more enjoyment out of it, for everything else, you got your right hand.

Well I went for the Computer Hardware instead of the Lingerie. Now only have to think up a lie about where I got the money to buy new computer equipment from!

Well I understand relationships are a partnership not a dictatorship, and there's compromise... but if its your money and you earned it, you have the right to spend it once in a while on something you want. You're not a child, and she's not your mommy.... well, unless you're into some really kinky @#$%.

    Wife will be happy anyway

The new hardware is going into the bedroom as a HTPC which the wife uses most to watch all her American Series on like Bones and CSI. The old P4 Prescot can no longer hack it showing HD and having 200 webpages open on children clothes.

The Fan on the CPU is so LOUD now when its working under 100% load I can't sleep will the wife surfs the web. Also the video card does not have HDMI so can't connect to the LCD without a DVI/HDMI adapter.

So better to spend double the $$$ for a MoBo/CPU/DDR3 then a new good Graphics Card.

But the wife does LOOK GOOD in Lingerie.....

The old P4 will soon be in school crunching for the XS team on WCG!!!

    Wife is VERY VERY HAPPY

Looks like the wife liked the new HTPC in the bedroom....
But I used a 150GB raptor for the OS and that has to go due to the NOISE, I never noticed when it was in my little office. So have to order a WD Black 1TB SATAIII.

Good job my son is nearly out of nappies and I dont have to hire a U-haul truck to deliver his Huggies!

Wife, Son, 3 cats, appartment and car, I had more pocket money to send on myself when I was 12 years old.

Women cost enough money as it is - go with the hardware because remember, a PC can always be upgraded and parts traded you don't like. You can't do that with the wife.

Buy her a dildo, that way when maybe she gets pissed off and claims you spend more money on your computers than her.... she's got a fall back position and will leave you alone for a while.... After all, you won't be getting any while she's pissed, and it'll calm her down

I vote get her a clitoral vibrator, which costs about $30
and spend the rest on small gifts that you will give her randomly throughout the month.

Which will provide her two benefits :
    1) more fun in sex
    2) more points for you

See women and men tend to award points differently
Men tend to allocate points based on the price/difficulty of the gift aka lots of points for big gifts and little points for small gifts
Women tend to allocate exactly one point per gift aka a big gift is equal to a single loving act.

Thus if you want the best results just do lots of little things instead of trying to do big gifts every once and a while.
[You'll be amazed by how far you can get by giving your woman a loving poem everyday]

small things given frequently are much more important than big things.

Every woman is unique and so is every relationship.

The only deciding factor for if a woman is wine or milk is time.

Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

Well I made the mistake of asking the wife what she wanted as a present for her birthday.

So I now have to decide on Divorce or going into an Apple Store and buying something there.
