That's not a dilemma, just put the 15" monotor back in place and keep the other for yourself..

    1) Women are far more erratic than even the buggiest computer and you can troubleshoot a buggy computer.
    2) Computers also don't get jealous if you consider upgrading or replacing your current computer.
    3) You don't need to ask your computer for permission to head out of town on a trip, head out drinking or whatever, and your computer will be patiently waiting for you when you return.
    4) Computers can be expensive, but are still much cheaper...

I wouldn't be so sure about that, I've had cases where I just angrily said something like "that's it you're getting replaced" and then promptly get a blue screen and no boot for a day or 2 until the computer cools off and gets over it's feelings being hurt.

Won't work as we have a Maid to do all the house work

Settled on a pair of Bluetooth headphones for use with her iPad, SonyLaptop and dinner tomorrow night at a good place. I got a Mont Blanc pen Considering I lose around 2500 Bic's a year this one is going to spend all its time in the box for the rest of its life.

Where do all the lost pens go to, is there a second hand pen shop anywhere....

I still say string, and call it lingerie. Even better, an eye patch and four band aids.

But no seriously, think outside the box. Find something she'll use all the time, or do something special with jewelry, like have something thoughtful that means something to your relationship on it, like something you said to her when you first dated. Doesn't have to be expensive, its the thought that counts and that goes a lot farther and can mean a lot more than how much you spend.

And if you can't think of anything, women always love those baskets of cremes, bath salts, and lotions. Victoria's Secret has those.
This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions, twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.

I wish I had a funny retort for that, but I don't. I've never been very good at that.

I wonder if there's a way you can make it harder for her to buy more shoes. How did she find the stores last time? GPS? Phone Book? Desk Clerk?

Well to find a shop in Hong Kong just walk out the hotel! Its one big shopping mall, but at least I can buy a pair of Dr Martins in size 7 1/2 and not euro39.

Nobody warmed me when I got married that the hardest thing about marrage was buying the wedding anaversery presents!
