Rampage III Black Edition + 980X... Just Fun

    Hello Guys,

In first excuse me for my English.

Today, then a lot of time of inactivity, i finaly find a bit of free time, and so i decided to test my new motherboard, the Asus Rampage III Black Edition, for see if was possible improve my old result with my 980X, and for bench again with LN2.

    Setting:

    Intel Core I7 980X + Kingpin F1 Gemini
Asus Rampage III Black Edition Retail
    Adata 2200 MHz C8
    Antec HCP 1200W
    MSI GTX 580 Lightning

Temperatures were really good, because in Single Channel I had not cold bug.

    And here the results.

    WPrime 32M

    1° in the 980X ranking
2° in the esa core ranking

    WPrime 1024M

    1° in the 980X ranking
3° in the Esa Core ranking

PiFast (poor result.. damn Single Channel :-))

Now i just finished LN2... but i think next week i will come back with some, hope good, 3D Result... :-)

    Byeeeeez and thx for reading.

This happens on v1.57.1 when you install it. It's the driver that CPU-Z installs that causes this. I uninstalled 1.57.1 and use 1.57 to get the vcore reading. This works for me at least.
When v1.57.1 is installed, then use 1.57, you will still not see the vcore from CPU-Z.

Thats too bad. Anything over single channel cripples the CPU.
