    Intel Batch / MOD?

i was doing some cleaning up in the house and found a few chips as i was looking i found there was a china SL7PR China chip i was just now wondering if the china chip for real overclocks better or is that still a myth?

also been playing around with the hard mod and i know most people use it because there motherboard don't have any overclocking options builded in the motherboard and can't get any of the overclocking software to work and they go that way, and just wondering will it help if i hard mod it first lets say we ahve a e6300 here and it starts out with 266mhz fsb and hard mod it to 333 and then overclock from there will that go higher or will just go from 266 and increasing the fsb from the ground be better?

also i been looking at the guide how people read the intel batch code thing

1st letter or digit = plant code
***0 = San Jose, Costa Rica
    ***1 = Cavite, Philippines
    ***3 = Costa Rica
    ***6 = Chandler, Arizona
    ***7 = Philippines
    ***8= Leixlip, Ireland
    ***9 = Penang, Malaysia
    ***L = Malaysia
    ***Q = Malaysia
    ***R = Manila, Philippines
    ***Y = Leixlip, Ireland
    --------------------------------------------
2nd digit = Year of production
    --------------------------------------------
    3rd & 4th digits = week (49th week )
    --------------------------------------------
    5th - 8th digits= lot number
    --------------------------------------------
    10th - 13th digits = serialization code
why is there no number 4 and number 5 plant code?
and my sl7pr chip is 5529a967 so what is 4 and 5?

also what is engineering sample? i mean i know that's what intel hands out to people to test it out like a alpha test kinda thing but i am wondering how do they overclock? higher? lower? or the same?
