Lol. It's probably not terrible. But it is terrible for the price. And I'm willing to bet it doesn't even come close to a D7000/D5100 or 60D in any way.

I look at it this way:

    Higher resolution - NO
    - Pixel per pixel, its identical
    Better colors - NO
    - No sensor or film gets colors 100% right, interpolation is just as close as 3-layer blending, cause in the end, its still an average on either sensor.
    3D Look - NO
    - All images are 2D, its a fanboy myth, Canon users think they get 3D, Nikon users think they get 3D
    Better Pixel sharpness - NO
    - A pixel is only a dot, and that cannot define sharpness
    Captures more detail - NO
    - Same resolution, same dynamic range, same color depth, and same lens = same detail, just different colors

Also, check this out if you haven't yet. Its Foveon for Bayer sensors and still has 4 times the "theoretical" resolution of the SD1.

The H4D-200MS camera uses a 50Mpix sensor mounted onto our patented symmetrical multi-shot frame, which can accurately position the sensor with accuracy, using piezo-electrical actuators. The camera then captures 6 shots, by moving the sensor 1 and ˝ pixel at the time, to create a 200Mpix capture. This process eliminates the issues which single-shot interpolation can sometimes introduce, such as moiré and color rendering issues, thereby capturing the red, green and blue information in each individual pixel point and then combining these captures into one amazing file.

Only thing that can you give slight 3D look is good lens, not much to do with sensor, cause even BW image can look bit 3D-ish.
