i wonder if Corsair would take into account as to adding a fillport - in case the fluid dries out...& possibly softer tubes or at least could replace the tubes.

Directron has the H100 available for $104.99:

    http://www.directron.com/cwch100.html?gsear=1

Normal price is $149.99. That's pretty good, now if we can get a review of it.

I feel like I'm stalking Utnorris!

Anyways, the site says copper heatsink, but aluminium radiator.

What gives? Is this true?! Stupid electrolysis.
    http://www.corsair.com/cooling/hydro...pu-cooler.html

    Edit:

I didn't realize all of these coolers were copper/aluminum. Are they refering to the fins being Al w/ brass/copper internals? I'd think there's be a huge problem here. Am I missing something?

I'm a H50 user for a long time now (bought it on feb 2009) and i'm very happy with it.

It has more than effectively cooled my q6600 @ 3.8, then later my q9550 @ 4.2 and now is being used on mine i5 2500k @ 5.0 ghz with ZERO problems until now.
It's sillent and can properly cool almost anything you throw at it.

Now with these new h80 and h100 releases, i'm thinking into buying the h80, because it really looks good (mine h50 is also not getting younger, so i think it's time for replace it...)
H100 for my uses is overkill, in my point of view, as the h50 is more than enough to cool mine 2500k @ 5ghz and never go into crazy temps territory... (full load never gets beyond 68º - 70ºc, even with extreme outside temperatures like we have in my region by now (35º to 40ºc and in august we usually get 45ºc ))

Does anyone know how much it costs in europe? In portugal i don't find it for sale in any place yet... (h70 costs from 85€ to 95€ here)

It's a closed loop with anti corrosive inhibitors in it I would guess, so the mixing of metals should be ok, at least for the warranty period.

Yeah, I read that they added a buffer.

Thanks though. I might just pick up an H100 for a project.

I was considering it, they apparrently only got a partial shipment in of what they were expecting and the rest won't be there for a month or more.

Just an FYI, we haven't shipped any H80s or H100s yet, and we won't for a few more weeks. Late this month is our official release date.

Can't wait, though I saw a UK e-tailer listing both already, any particular reason why the H100 is only "slightly" more than the H80? (around 10% more)

Corsair's website says AM2 and AM3 - Will this also be compatible with the changed mount on AM3+ ??

Because the H100 uses a thin radiator (27mm) while h80 uses a thick one (38mm).
That should be the main reason. I'm betting that the H100 performance is only slightly superior to h80.

    h100 rad specs: 122mm x 275mm x 27mm
    h80 rad specs: 120mm x 152mm x 38mm

that slightly for me looks like H80 rad is ~65% of H100 rad. that is a lot.

Adding the total area of both, that means the H100 has 25% more surface area than the H80. So does that mean 25% more cost?

just decided to go for a 650D and i'm sure that i'm going to get the H100 once it's released

i like the idea of a completely sealed WC system and i'm willing to trade 5-10°C for better reliability and no need to disassemble everything 1-2 times a year

all we're missing now is a VGA cooler with a 120mm RAD

I would instantly buy the H100 if they also made one for a GPU. Hate having water cooling for CPU and only air for GPU. It's either full air or full water.
