    ASUS 990FX Sabertooth leaked

    http://www.donanimhaber.com/anakart/...taya-cikti.htm

Looks pretty good so far, I wonder what the rest of ASUS's 990FX board lineup looks like. And I can't wait to see more 990FX boards from Gigabyte, MSI, etc

Looks nice...and luckily they didn't put that horrible plate that covers the entire board as with P67

Zambezi sure is getting some nice motherboards! Every mobo manufacturer is stepping up big time. I can't wait to see this next to a 990FX Crosshair. One of them will be in my future.

Looks nice???? Two different shades of brown with toxic green?
I guess I have a weird taste but this looks awful to me. I'd prefer pink n purple and white over this

    I actually liked it,

Maybe they will include it in the final product when shipped out.

Why would they? I've seen two reviews where they mentioned that plastic shroud actually increased temperatures

can't really think why they thought that a plastic shroud will enhance any thermal dissipation at all ...

Plastic is not a good thermal conductor ... it's more the other way around, it conserves heat ...

I can see only 4 pwm 4 pin fan headers yet it says 6 ? and 4 chassis fans headers while I only see 1?
10 fan headers on board lol that's insane to think about that mess of wires coming off the board...

i think i see 3 chassis next to the VRM heatsink
    2 cpu above the cpu
1 cpu above the ram in the corner
1 chasis below the ram next to the southbridge cooler
2 cpu left of the northbride cooler

thats 5 cpu and 4 chassis, the guesswork is coming from the very first image which is too low a resolution to be sure

Nice looking board. One of the best looking ones this year. Would love to have an AMD rig again since the thunderbird chips. Hope BD delivers.

I cannot say if Zambezi will be top performance in every possible scenario, but the boards that are popping up are indeed showing us that AMD's partners are taking the whole Am3+ platform really seriously, and for a reason.

Post of the day right here hahaha

I wouldn't go so far as to say that seeing a sabertooth board means BD will be smokin fast or faster than Intel. after all AM3 has it's fare share of really high end boards as well. but boards like this certainly can't hurt.
