Glad to be over the hump with the C300 and now I can report at any time, not just as close as possible to every 50 on the raw wear. Lots less VNC/RDC and random checks during the day now![]()
M225->Vertex Turbo 64GB Update:

MWI 7 (drops by 1 for every 50 raw wear)

C4-Erase Failure Block Count(Realloc Sectors) at 2 (Bank 6/Block 2406; Bank 3/Block 3925)
Looks like I'll be hitting MWI 1 over the holiday weekend while I'm off work. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it (since I'll be at home) and post it. If not, then no update till I come back on Wednesday.

Really amazed to see the M225 cross the 200 TB barrier. Nice going ! Somebody on a forum was wrongly claiming that if they hit 10 TB it would be a miracle etc. due to the really high WA but it seems like you have the 50nm 10 000 cycles MLC NAND and upgraded the firmware so it now has TRIM and a better WA algorithm so well done to Indilinx drives !

Considering the M225->Vertex Turbo's WA is ~1.18x with TRIM enabled and with these test conditions, 500TiB wouldn't surprise me much.
Hey guys, I'm still running 100% compression. I was just wondering if you think I should switch over to another compression at some point and when?

WOW really quite impressive the Indilinx has such a low WA while being such an early design compared to the likes of the Intel or Crucial ( Marvel ) controllers.

So, by now can we seriously say that all Corsair Force drives have no LTT enabled unlike the OCZ drives ???

I think it would greatly benefit this thread if we also test some USB or similar drives with "dumb" flash controllers because this is quite unknown at the moment while we successfully proved that some SSDs really can last a lot of time etc. What do you think ?

Whoa, B.A.T, you have the mystery Crucial/Micron SMART attributes showing up now! You said you tried to flash to the new firmware but the updater said it couldn't do it? That's exactly what caused my mystery attributes to show up too (though my updater said it couldn't happen because the firmware was already flashed).
