Mouse lag issue is still not fixed.
AMD SteadyVideo is greyed out for me for whatever reason (2x 6970).

The cursor lag disappeared in games for me with the 11.5a hotfix. But it is still apparent when I'm not gaming, for example when I'm browsing the web or doing other such tasks in Windows. Which seems strange!

Yeah, you are absolutely right! But I experienced the cursor lag in World of Warcraft and Shogun 2 aswell. After the 11.5a hotfix the lag is gone in these games. I guess it's better than nothing! Still waiting for a true fix though.

Crap...Both the official 11.5 and the 11.5a hotfix version overrides my settings in Trixx. I make an adjustment in Trixx and after a 2-3 secounds CCC takes it all back....Annoying

All I read from you these days is trolling. You seemed to leave and then came back again a bitter man. You used to try to make helpful statements, and you helped the community. I want that Ket back.

I'd guess he does that through custom BIOSes. Personally I just can't justify all the work flashing cards when software made everything so easy. Especially when you own a card which already has unlocked voltage.

Yeah, so all the top WW overclockers using SmartDoctor and AB are noobs... Yeah, right...

On a more positive and useful note, here's AMD 11.5 CAP1 (thanks to asder00). No release notes that I know of.

Well as of right now can't flash clocks on a 6950 with 6970 shaders unlocked so you have no other option..just saying

Yes, software OCing is n00bish. Doesn't get any more simplistic than Software OCing. It doesn't matter how somebody cools something to OC, at the end of the day give something enough cold and volts anybody can be considered a "great" OCer, its not difficult Things just seem more impressive because WR holders are usually sponsored and usually have cherry picked hardware. A touch of class, or as some may call it the gentlemans approach such as with vBIOS mods goes a long way.

    So complicated = cool?
Why reboot and flash 20 times when you can just get absolutely the same result in Windows A LOT faster?
It's just a time sink... And keying in things in RBE or Nibitor takes no skill. Oh, and BIOS = software (well, firmware, technically)... Just saying.
    Not to mention that

so again..what do you do thats so pro ? jump some circuitry ? solder on some capacitors? resistors? ...do you actually mod the card itself? any pics of your 460 with these hard ware mods ?...cause if its not something like that then its not hardware..your still going about it with software...

ok first i was being sarcastic asking the "pro" what he does to overclock thats not software...someone replied with flashing the bios...so i responded since i have a 6950 flashed to 6970 that you cant change(overclock) the clocks in RBE for this particular card cause itll blue screen..so...wtf are you talking about???..
He was talking to ket and quoted you at the end.

Hard mods require some knowledge about how the product works and its limits(goes for anything),bios is low level software.
