Unfortunately Rotaries are best used for benching because they vibrate a lot and even with rubber mounts they make a lot of noise. If its cased and you try to dampen the noise you risk overheating so you compensate with stronger in/put fans which just adds to the noise.
Go with a bigger reciprocating compressors like a Copeland brand. They are big and very heavy but also very quiet. Did I mention heavy

Ask for a 10 ft suction line with oil separator, then put it outside your home!

I HOPE YOU'RE EITHER DEAF OR DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH GOING DEAF. YES I'M SHOUTING.

I reckon you should get a 100ft suction line and bury it in an underground bunker

As I told you in PM - Little Devil does amazing work. If you need a 24/7 cooler, ask him to build you one. Tell him you want a strong single stage with quiet hermetic compressor that will hold 300w.

If it helps. If I was going to buy a custom made single stage in Europe I would buy from Littledevil. He builds a ton of these units and knows what he is doing with quality and experience to back him up.

If its too loud just wear earphones

Commercial options also exist with coolerexpress which are a good balance between performance and noise.

i wear earplugs when i bench my rotary cascade for 5-6 hrs
its hard to speak to friends that are around during the benching session with earplugs in though
also ya need to stick carpet or some or of absorbing material under rotary unit to help reduce vibrations that vibrate though your computer desk
if you use a large case with sound dampening inside of the case you can greatly reduce the noise level
Realistically ya need a normal compressor with sound dampening to have a silent unit for 24/7, especially if you leave your pc running in the room while you sleep for those crazy folding ppl

IMO, you have a working, 24/7 phase unit. I wouldn't loose that; id keep your vapochill and buy a benching phase change or buy a ln2/dice pot
