Question LIAN LI EX-33N HDD Mount Kit

Any idea whether this will slide into an 800D?

    Anything better? Much obliged!

That will fit into 3 x 5.25" bay.

As long as you have 3 empty DVD drive bays your good.

Yes, but the antec 900 already has 6 x 3.5 drive bays for HDDs. If you use the above you won't have room for a DVD drive. Or what you can do is find a 2x 5.25 convert to 3.25 HDD cage.

It will fit into any 3x 5.25bay. They fit exactly like DVD-Rom drives.

Well, until a couple of days ago, I was going to run the bottom 360 radiator intake in my 800D build as an intake, with the top 480 being an exhaust.

The thought was that I could suck a lot of the hot air from the bottom out the back (before it reached the 480), while fresh air would enter the front (via the 3 x 5.25 hard drive fan cage mentioned here), to be ingested by the 480.

Since then, after reading more about positive pressure tests with the 800D (and noticing the fairly large surface area of grating/passive ventilation opportunities all over the 800D's backside), I'm convinced that running the top 480 as an intake makes the most sense. My initial fear was that I would overwhelm my exhaust capacity with 7 GT AP-15s trying to push against a lonely AP-15 (albeit running at a higher RPM) on the backside.

So, against my first intuition to route overall airflow from bottom up (which is problematic when rads are located at the top and bottom of the case), I'm going to run them both as intakes. Rad + fresh air = goodness.

Plus, I get my 3 5.25 bays back! Woo hoo! Now I can expand that Aquaero 5!

    Thx to all!

mBrane: you can also do like i did, and cut extra fans in sidewalls of case. Shouldn't be much harder then cutting top of case for 4x120 mod. And in same way good looking, albeit smaller, rad grill can be slapped on.

Thx for the reply, Churchy. Yes, I did consider that (and mounting a 480 on its side in the bottom, with 480 holes on right and left of case, to keep bottom airflow completely out of main case section), but I'm going for a silent (but deadly!) build, so I'm trying to limited opening up new holes for sound to escape.
