Out of interest, if you bench with this board again do you think you could see what the maximum bclks are with a lower multiplier? Just a little curious thats all.

Good start!! and you really put alot in your reviews.
As far as insulation goes - it's different strokes for different folks.
All I use is vasolene and paper towels. I'm too lazy for eraser. But I have to agree with others - Don't mix eraser and grease.

Thanks man that really means a lot coming from you! I remember you from when i joined up back in 04, yea i am always learning, i think next time i will just use conformal coat, eraser on the main parts and di-electric grease on the others, just not with the eraser!

Hey guys, so if anyone is out there looking to buy this board, you can get $100 off at newegg, $50 rebate, and $50 with the promo code "GAX58AOC" Gulftown benching is still strong!

I goes it brings the board down below original thought price.

LOL at one of the reviews, it's not a bios issue but the 920 silicone. They do not all consistently clock to 4GHz properly hence why OC button doesn't support it
    Check your processor...

Pros: Looks great on paper..preview testing. Lots of features.

Cons: The 4.0 overclock button does NOT support the I7-920 processor (according to the manual, P. 22). Only I7-930 and up. This is a real disappointment for me as I had planned to buy this board and waited specifically for it.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully this is merely an early release BIOS problem. Any comment Gigabyte?

maybe when you do your reviews, you should look at the current price when you do the review.
