With another of my wonderful "OOPSes" on ebay it appears I supposed to be getting an unopened retail LG BH12LS35 Blu Ray burner.
While retail which means it'll have some kind of software, don't think I've ever heard nice words about most of those, sooooooooo.......
Don't want to need a second mortgage, but what would be a nice third party SW to burning and viewing BR & DVD??

Imgburn, which is a continuation of dvd-decryptor but without the decrypt stuff, same author, best burning prog out there.
If you need to copy dvd's or bd's then you'll need anydvd.
To enable the use of anydvd in imgburn you'll have to switch to ElbyCDIO under the I/O tab in the settings.
I only recommend using it for protected disk's, otherwise use the default setting because it's faster and stuff.
Your burner wouldn't of came with those 2 programs anyways so no biggy.
If you need to encode one format to another and burn it on a disk that's compatible with a set top player, the only program that comes to mind is nero.
Otherwise I have no idea and I wouldn't even bother with nero anyways.
