Lightbulb EVGA P67 and 3Dmark2001 benchmark

    Sandybridge rocks on good-old 01.

Wolfie can rest in piece safely.

k|ngp|n just took single-GPU 01 WR with mere 5.75GHz sandy and EVGA P67 E675 SLI motherboard.

    EVGA E675 SLI + 2600k @5755mhz
    EVGA GTX285 CLASSIFIED @TEK-9 FAT 1130/1461
    EVGA CLASSIFIED 1200W PSU
    CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2200C8

    Hwbot result: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2160609_

    Screenies

Some cooling latency don't hurt too.

How much is this EVGA board? Announced price 199 USD only

Just need too find decent sandy

3Dmark2001 only needs 2 cores. 4 or 8 wont make a difference in score.

Very nice, congrats! Did disabling 2 cores give you any mhz? I get nothing extra with less cores on my chip.

    Nope, nothing

    Great score bro(s)!

Does the eVGA board use EFI or is it a nice normal old-school BIOS?

Conclusion: EFI doesn't cause bad 01 performance of M4E.
