Talking MSI GTX275 Lightning is aliveeeeeee again, massman-esque like too

www . holysmokes . com, seriously people i can't believe my luck in the last few days. I tested some old cards i really liked and back to life comes Asus Matrix 4870 that benches 1150 core and this awesome MSI GTX275 Lightning.

    Easy 1350/2700/1400

I nearly finished 1400Mhz nature run as well. Too bad I ran out of voltage and core frequency with this Afterburner software, need MOAR please. I haven't even bothered testing if i can do more than 1400 on ram either

This has to be the best GPU ive ever tested seriously, love it

I'm really glad i bought this new Fatty pot from Vince. It seriously rocks, thanks mate!

    Test system:
    • GIGABYTE P67X-UD3R
    • MSI GTX275 Lightning GPU
    • Intel Core i5 2600K
    • Corsair Dominator GT Hypers
    • Kingpin Fatty pot
    • Antec TP1200
    • Windows Vista 32bit

Guess what I'll be benching soon

    -------------------------------------------------
    -------------------------------------------------

ok its working again , did a quick run to see what its like .

2500K takes a hit in LH but it is what it is, im happy to have a decent clocking chip at least heh

    03 nature

There is still more in it, needed a bit of a volt bump but 1440 memory is ok, will try more next time, 133K looks doable

This one! I tested it and for me it works for a 275 Lightning. And for the freq issue, what about using rivatuner?
    This should work also...

Good luck with yours. My 1400 vantage card just did this:

Lightnings that come back to life ROCK! Hella clocks Dino!
I sure had alot of fun clocking that 275 lightning. It was a great card for overclocking. Monster clocks.
Too bad gatman aka "da crusher" dropped the best one I had card side down with a Tek-9 FAT on it at the shop back home

lol bans "da crusher" from vinboe's new lab j/k

i almost killed this card when i did the vmem mod. I had it sitting on the back and didn't notice one of the solder wires coming off the VR and joined the second wire . System wasn't booting and then i saw the wires crossing FARK. Works now that ive re-soldered the point and covered the solder joints with some blutack lol.

man i had 2L left in the tank but couldnt wait till refill, fired up the rig, 5.7GHz check, 1300/1400 check, LOL nature was still doing ~900 FPS. Warmed the card up tried lower clocks, no good. changed from XP to W7, also really low FPS

fired up a GTX295 on one core with 755/1223 and got 1K FPS in nature.

Damn, seems the card may be alive but not really working properly
will mod an SOC275 see how that goes

the setup itself is definitely humming along alright. i did a few runs in similar range to my last week's test with gtx295, system looks ok

Did Gamer touch it Sad loss there, that would have been the Aussie crusher with our 5.9 CPUs...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
