Display much darker since new ATI drivers!! How to fix?

    Hi,

I currently have an ATI 5790HD card and I just upgraded to the latest drivers. Now the desktop display is much, much darker than before. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Try CCC software control and also try your monitor adjustment software and one or
    both should resolve the problem.

What brand monitor do you have? If it's Samsung, delete the ICC color profile and (use Adobe sRGB) and reboot.

EDIT: didn't mean to rez this thread it was on the top of the second page and I didn't look at the dates
