whether it's done in a browser doesn't mean much. look at quake live.

To be fair the island demo that ships with the unity SDK looks better. But I'm all for games using the unity engine.

yo, that was impressive about 8 years ago. how about you try something modern. http://www.interstellarmarines.com/
lol browser games, good old flash!
Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
You mean shockwave?
Look everyone, most likely 500 games with graphics similar to the FPS in Post 1

i3 2100, MSI H61M-E33. 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws.
MSI GTX 460 Twin Frozr II. 1TB Caviar Blue.
Corsair HX 620, CM 690, Win 7 Ultimate 64bit.
There is a difference between "done in browser" and "loaded through browser"... Most of these games are just loaded through browser. Quake Live is such example.

the game handling is terrible anyway, i don't know why they bothered making this.

This.
Battlefield4Free, Heroes, Quake Live, etc. These are all stand-alone executables which happen to be launched and are integrated to varying degrees with a browser.
I would love it if they would make truly 3D games IN THE BROWSER, because it would be OS independent, just browser standards dependent. I tried about a year ago playing around using some HTML5 stuff, and CSS transformations. It's not going to happen now, but I think a pure javascript/CSS/HTML based shooter will be possible in a browser with the next 5-10 years.
For now we will have to settle with Katamari in the browser
