To be fair the island demo that ships with the unity SDK looks better. But I'm all for games using the unity engine.

Yes I've been in races with Marcos Ambrose and Dale Jr. in the past.

It's just a joke, though there is no need to calm down if you don't want to though a browser is needed to run the game.

I went ahead and tried it out myself. It was indeed laggy for myself as well. I turned the settings as low as possible to make sure and I played on a very small server.

lol browser games, good old flash!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

There is a difference between "done in browser" and "loaded through browser"... Most of these games are just loaded through browser. Quake Live is such example.

    This.

Battlefield4Free, Heroes, Quake Live, etc. These are all stand-alone executables which happen to be launched and are integrated to varying degrees with a browser.

I would love it if they would make truly 3D games IN THE BROWSER, because it would be OS independent, just browser standards dependent. I tried about a year ago playing around using some HTML5 stuff, and CSS transformations. It's not going to happen now, but I think a pure javascript/CSS/HTML based shooter will be possible in a browser with the next 5-10 years.

For now we will have to settle with Katamari in the browser
