New build 1.0.1.8 is online, there's a slight change at the way the benchmark is done internally, for all who found problems with previous builds, please download new build 1.0.1.8 and let me know if you can run the benchmarks now.

I'll have to test it once i arrive @ home from the work.
But it will be something like avg 75fps.

v1.9 + dx11 patch + high res textures, really pushes my machine :|
with only one 6870 i get average 35~40 fps, and once i enable the crossfire it gives me avg 70~75 fps ingame :| and this @ 1440x900 res (everything max settings, and ati catalyst drivers all enabled for max quality)... i imagine @ 2560x1600... not even 580's SLI should play it above 60 fps...

Sounds like stability issues. I just ran it and didn't have any issues. Now if I go and overclock past 900mhz... then it crashes.

Odd that the card will pass synthetic torture tests without a problem but turn on Crysis and... Crash!

With stock video card clocks, 1920x1200, Ultra, 4xAA, Times Square, DX11, EdgeAA, and High-Res... I average 40fps with a minimum of 27.

I do have a bunch of settings being forced via nVidia Inspector. Not sure if they're actually overriding things. 8xCSAA, 2xMultisampling, 16xAF, High Quality Ambient Occlusion, etc.

Not specific to you, but I heard of a cracked exe that causes the benchmark to load and crash right before starting the timedemo. If it's not your case, please post game.log file contents you can find in crysis 2 installation directory so I can try to figure out why and when it's crashing.

1.0.1.9 version runs in slow motion for me where as 1.0.1.8 runs at normal speed, 1.0.1.9 also shows half the score of 1.0.1.8.....dual 6990 cfx here.

    Can you post the results?

In 1.0.1.8 and previous builds the benchmark could, in some cases, run with lower settings than the specified on benchmark tool.

Hi, I have tested the new 1.0.1.9 beta and seems to work alright for me except for massive flickering when I run SLI, single card is okey, run 275.33 driver.

Can you look into that please

Hey Ghostleader, I don't have SLI here but I'll ask some friends about the flickering. Previous builds were ok for you?

    Sounds great.

It has been like that since the 0.15, I have no problem with flickering when I play the game.

I also have a rig with a Crossfire setup (2 x 5870), no problem with flickering in either the benchmark tool or when I play the game, using CCC 11.6.

Btw: nice of you get the tool to work again

Max fps = 21 with all settings maxed 1920x1200 and dual 6990 cfx and it runs in slow motion, disable cfx and just use one 6990 same story, so something isn't right with latest build. Previous build ran normally yet still only got 62fps max. something wierd here.

By reading this, I guess the internal build I've sent you is working, is it?

Confirmed, build 1.0.1.9 reinforces quality settings by setting individual spec cvars (sys_spec_shadows, sys_spec_objectdetail, sys_spec_postprocessing etc.) because using only sys_spec wasn't working, but it seems that changing sys_spec_postprocessing kills multi-GPU. I'm still working on it but at least I know what's happening now.

What I mean was that 0.15 didnīt work that well with the latest DX9 patches, so it was nice to see the new 1.0.1.9 beta itīs working alright with the new DX11 except for the SLI flickering.

So no, I havenīt tested what you send me yet, Iīm at work for the moment, in a couple of hours I can test it, I get back to you as soon as I have tested it.

Oh, I see. Please try the new build, we tested it with an HD 6990, HD 6950 crossfire and a GTX 590. Multi-GPU works fine, no flickering was observed.

Nice, thanks for the feedback, Ghostleader

If possible, please share your results so we can see how good an HD 5870 crossfire scales compared to a GTX 580 SLI.

    Youīre welcome

See what I can do about some results give me an hour or two.

Donīt know about the 5870, they seems to struggle and I think itīs because they only have 1Gb vram, the GTX 580 have 1,5Gb and they are max out during game play and bench.

My 5870 Crossfire rig crashes when the game load a level with only 4Gb of ram, I have to put in a extra 4Gb of ram (total 8Gb) and then it uses ~60% of it (4,8Gb)

@NapalmV5: wow, that's funny :P It wasn't supposed to scale at all, I had disabled auto scaling but it seems something went wrong. I'll have a look onto that, thanks for the heads up!

@Ghostleader: so Crysis 2 is finally.... Crysis

But it's weird, 4 GB are supposed to be enough, unless you're running a 32-bit OS.

Itīs wierd because I donīt get that kind of problem with my GTX 460 in SLI, they have also only 1Gb of vram

    I do run a 64-bit OS.
