My motherboard is a MSI X58 Pro-E, I got the I7-950 for it. The damn thing turns on, sounds great, displays nothing, then shuts down and starts up again on it's own, over and over. My husband flashed the BIOS when I first put the thing together before I had a chance to even try starting it up. I think that may be the problem, but I don't know. Thanks for your time.
1. check cpu socket pins if one or more are bent
2. try one stick of ram one at a time
4. how many beeps?
