[Rumor] Video showing the performance of Bulldozer!

I posted this in another thread but it probably should go here.

There is a Bulldozer video (from AMD) that's gone up on youtube today that shows some Bulldozer performance.
It is currently password protected (at the time of me writing this) but that should be lifted and it will go public sometime this afternoon according to my source.

Keep an eye out for it.

Now this looks interesting! Manipulating the Youtube link a little bit, reveals the title and a single frame. See here:

Edit: That's John Fruehe, right? Looks like him atleast! He is the Director of Product Marketing for Server/Workstation products at AMD.

No, someone said it was a performance video. I said I did not authorize a performance video. If you watch the video you'll see that all I say about performance is what I said almost a year ago.

Overhyped if you ask me. And man, that guy looks a lot like my dad. When in the hell did I get so old?
While I work for AMD, my posts are my own opinions.

Gotta hit the gym John. Or better yet you should try P90X! Anyways, it's good to see a video of anything Bulldozer related. I've been waiting since 2007 for this damn thing. Private video FAIL though...

    Does Bulldozer too overhyped ?

My 50 cent is, BD will come 2 years late. Core 2 kicked K8 so hard and now even things are going better and better, to no say less hard for AMD, BD need to be an incredible boost over K10.5 for changing something in the market.

And about unofficial AM3+ compatible motherboards, any comment JF ?

AMD closed on the purchase of ATI in October, 2006.

In December of 2006, AMD announced the Fusion APU ...

And in December of 2010, AMD delivered the first product to OEMs.

Video is live now. As I said above, it is pretty much everything you would know by reading forums. It is targeted at the general public that doesn't know anything and don't follow our blogs.
While I work for AMD, my posts are my own opinions.

Upon seeing this thread was like taking a drunk cheerleader to the prom and then only meeting her overgrown steroid pumping football player boyfriend towards the end of the night that stomps your ass into the ground like a bug before the real prom begins. HURRY UP JUNE! Lol!

Embrace the encroaching perils you have inherited through the parental unit DNA

    As you wish ...

but Zacate is the little brother to the actual Bulldozer Fusion Pile-Driver -- we have to go through Zambezi & Llano to get there.

If you watched the video, John said to click the link in the video..if you did this, the vid worked. Direct links, no, did not work.

No new performance info anyway, as John stated.

John, you are such a tease.

Yes, Zacate is, but we're talking about Zambezi here.

The upcoming Zambezi have just as much to do with ATI as any Phenom for instance, which is, nothing at all.
The reason is quite simple, it would be too risky:
Q: Why not have integrated of graphic controller in Zambezi whereas Komodo is equipped with it?

A: Quite simply because Bulldozer is a new architecture. With all that comprises like risks. We thus integrate the innovations gradually. 2012 will thus have to be waited until to see an APU Bulldozer.
It makes sense, but it also means that AM3+ probably won't stay for long. A brand new CPU, together with an outdated socket (with yet another revision).
