Time for a quick preview of what we’ll be showing at Computex in June this year; it’s the new GA-Z79A-UD13 motherboard with 8-way SLI/CrossfireX via 4 additional PCIe bridge chips. It also features an unbelievable additional 14 SATA ports (8 from the chipset + 14 for a total of 22) from 7 Marvell controllers that can be found under the specially extended South Bridge heatsink, together with the PCIe bridge chips. Due to its extended size, we’re calling this the XXXXL-ATX form factor and are working with all your favorite case manufacturers to have chasses available at launch day.

A long @ss board like that would be kinda neat but it would need a custom case.

I haven't seen cpu pcie card's for a couple years now...
That's the 1st thing that comes to my mind when I see that many extra slots.
