did anybody use kingpin gemini pot?
-140c 1440/1350
Nice to see efficiency coming into play in a competition, it's usually all about the hardware in the end. Good job MSI
Hey guys, I'm with Stelaras and Aristidis as Greek media for MOA. Here is a video I recorded with our 154200+ 3DMark03 score. Before that we got 154k two times but it always froze in desktop because the judges delayed while writing down the clocks... Anyway, we lowered the CPU frequency from 5600MHz to 5500MHz and we finally got it! CPU @ 5500MHz @ -50*C, VGA @ 1440/1350MHz @ -140*C

Nice to see so much excitement, well done Greece !!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
What is the schedule? If someone know, please post here the starting time of 3DM11 part.
Very nice job Greece and Romania in day 1.

Yes; CPU pot was very important for an event on SandyBridge.... DOH...
Top5 did not even use pot for CPU all...
However; GPU pots are still interesting though

Very intelligent Chuck!
I you have ever tried to push BCLK on P67 platform, you would know that cold helps.
Here is the sample shot with -100C

And no..even though you are the best of them all, you will not get free sample for your memory testing
You are as good as your samples are!

Seriously I highly doubt Pot design played any factor at all. I can run 110.3 bclk 100% benchable on just a simple singlestage. It doesn't mean it's the best product since canned ham.
GPU wise of course is up for debate.
However lets stop the viral BS marketing eh?
Congrats to the winners of the qualifiers.

I've got no strings to hold me down.
To make me fret, or make me frown.
I had strings but now I'm free.
There are no strings on me

Congrats to all of top 5! Romania, Greece and Russia did exceptionally well.
I think there has never been a competition this tight before and the benchmarks really tested every part of your skill as an overclocker. Great job MSI and mr Giorgioprimo.
Even though we didn't win this time we're pretty satisfied with the results after a very bad first day. The cpu wouldn't do much over 5280 MHz and not many things went the way we wanted. In the end we managed to secure a place to the WW finals which is what mattered the most. The other Swedish team did great as well and were only 0.2% behind us, but it was enough for the Germans to squeeze in and steal the last ticket to Taipei.
2008 - AOCC WW #2 | MOA EU #8 | GOOC WW #1
2009 - GOOC WW #3 | MOA EU #3 | MOA WW #1 | GB TweaKing #6 | ASUS ROG OCS #2
2010 - MOA EU #1 | GOOC EU #13 | MOA WW #1
2011 - MOA EU #4 | MOA WW #?
