Ok guys, heres one I can really be proud of. Using a new Albatron KX8D Pro II board, my Barton 2500, and 1 stick of 512MB Corsair BH-6 Ram, I was able to get an OC of 2.5GHZ! With a 227FSB X11, and ram settings set at 11-2-2-2, I managed to get to this personal milestone. Although I dont have any proof to show, like screenshots and stuff,,,I was able to get a couple good benchmark scores before I ran off to work. With my FSB at 225X11.5, same ram settings, I was able to get a 3D Mark 2001SE score of 15557 (and thats w/ my GPU at default settings!), and a PC Mark2002 score of CPU:7690/Mem:7041. WOW!! I then lowered my multiplier to 11, and raised my FSB to 227, upped my CPU volts by a mere .50 for more stability, and was able to get a PCMark2002 score of CPU:7752/Mem:7102. I couldnt believe it! Course, then, dammit, I had to leave for work, so I couldnt run a 3DMark test. I'm cooling my CPU w/ a stock Corsair Hydrocool2000 watercooler, and I was right on the @$$ of my B/F's scores, his puter being cooled with his -24Cto-30C temp waterchiller! hehehehehehehe.....Can't wait to tweak more and see what I can do next,,,,,,,but I just had to post this....![]()

I was using some CH-5 or CH-6 Corsair, and couldnt get the good timings,,,it was stopping me from going any further. But my B/F found he had a stick of BH-6 Corsair, and we thought we'd try it, seeing how the BH-5 is being hailed as THE one to have. We discovered that the BH-6 is damn near as good as the BH-5 for timings. The one stick of the BH-6 did sooo much better than even both of the CH-sticks together. Still need to tweak and try some dif things,,,Im sure I can get a bit higher,,too bad it takes time to do it. clock, reboot, clock, reboot, repeat...lol.
