I don't think so - I haven't seen a single CUII that wouldn't run 1550+ 03 (more likely 1600+)...I highly doubt that Lightning will go any further.

What I like about the Lightning are the switches - I am totally fail soldering something and when I do (or let it do by somebody) I often have problems with wires loosening or resistors failing - so that rules out a lot issues when going cold. I like it.

But as I said - don't expect Lightning to give us 200% OC on the GPU, it will be around the same as CU II I think - both cards will max out the GF110

    Oh SHI(f)T!!!........

I just COULDN'T resist to post in here......

Well......ONCE again I will be the "bad guy" but I can't stand it!......

    OK........Let's go........

According to your post above you claim that these benches at 1000MHz core speed were done "ON STOCK COOLLER".

Well, have you EVER - EVER seen an AIR COOLING system (VGA here) to has a DELTA of 6*C???.....

IDLE you have 26*C and FULL LOAD 32*C??.......

    WHAT AIR COOLER is that?.......

A MAGIC one from out of this world and we don't know it?....

I have one ASUS GTX580CU VGA that can do 1000MHz at 1.188Vcore with it's OWN cooler BUT I have 27*C IDLE and 54*C FULL LOAD.
When I place a DELTA fan 200cfm in front of its own fans, I get 26*C IDLE and 51*C FULL LOAD......A difference of ~25*C.......

AND YOU CLAIM a - ONLY - 6*C difference from IDLE to LOAD???.....

    GIMME a f(l)ucken break man!.....

You've done it with WATERCOOLING and posted it here - and I put my d(r)ick on the table and hit it with a hammer if you didn't do that.......

DID you got PAID by MSI to do that?
DID you got PAID by MSI to show to the world 1000MHz ON AIR?
DID you did it to get more samples?
WHY did you did it? - because you simply DID IT! - ....

Take a good look at your screen shot below and tell me IF this could be done with AIR COOLING....

Not to be a rant killer but MSI afterburner was obviously started after the test was already done, therefor you dont see the lines representing the historical temps/clocks/voltages ect. The card was 32C when afterburner was started (Again after the run) and chilled down to 26C before he took the screenshot.

    Please think before you post.

And to show it was specifically a Lighting version is my guess.

    Without Switches the Voltages are:

    Memory 1,591V
    PLL 1,068V
    GPU 1,0V

    With Switches the voltages are:

    Memory: 1,645V
    PLL: 1,102V
    gpu: 1,068V

With Classic Afterburner you can push Gpu Voltage to +200mV, Memory Voltage to + 100mV and PLL Voltage to +50mV
