Interesting. You still need to add a CO2 bottle. What are the costs of refill a CO2 bottle?

This is pretty interesting. If I had to drive a distance to pick up DICE I would give it a whirl, but I only have to drive 5 minutes.
    Good find none the less.

No but it would be fun just to try it, plus I would just make it right when I was going to use it.

I see, If my pot don't sell soon I might try it. I want to spend more money on my sound system though.

Spend more on your sound system? You must be trying to open your own concert venue.

Seriously considering this option since I ran thru all the dice at the local stores here in the last week.
Only had a meesly 4lb bag left today
Though I think if I find someone selling co2 I'll go ahead and get ln2 instead, assuming they carry both.

You can find Co2 refill stations at sporting goods stores that refill paintball tanks.

Good info trace. I sold my Dice pot so im done with extreme cooling, I still like to play with my overclock though. My 950 is at 4.2 ram at 2000, 88824. on air. Im happy with that.

You should have stayed with 775 or started to bench AMD
Would have been cheaper anyway. I seen you start to stray once you got 1366.

Yea I feel like the 1366 chips are not as tough and degrade when pushed due to the uncore, I could be wrong.
I dig you profile picture/av on the bot.

Nobody has tried it yet. I have access to DICE 5 minutes from me so this would be just a waste of money for me, but someone that has to go far to get it, this would be really handy.

I wonder what the cost savings would be for this, if any.

It takes about 4 lbs of liquid CO2 to make a Pound of DRY ICE. A 50 OR 70 LB
Siphon Cylinder of liquid CO2 will make about 11 to 14 lbs of dry ice.
A "Soda" tank will not work as it does not have a dip tube to pull liquid up into the hose.

I get 10lb blocks over at the local store for something like $20. It's been awhile that I have gotten any so my price might be off. So for that thing I would need 40lbs of liquid to make that one 10lb block.

Have to look and see what a tank of liquid CO2 costs.

Dont forget to calculate fuel and time to travel to pick up the dry ice, just a thought.
