Hope the wait isn't too long...it's pretty much perfect for my needs. No NF200, color scheme is what I'm looking for, and it looks like a nice clocker. I'd hate to have to go with the P67 FTW from eVGA just because this board isn't out when I'm ready to buy (which is anytime now).

Are we talking weeks or months?

I emailed Foxconn directly and got a response back:

    *******************************************

    Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contacting Foxconn!

We are expecting the Rattler to arrive in 2-3 weeks in Europe, release time and shipping to US is the same so it should also be there at the same time.

For more technical questions about this board please contact FAE.UK@foxconn.com
For questions about warranty please contact RMA.NL@foxconn.com

Best regards, / Met vriendelijke groet,

Just waiting on parts so i can bring my sample board up to retail. Slowboat from china I think, been waiting 2 weeks!

As soon as I get that all sorted i'll finish up the other thread and post a full review up. Its definitely a worthy QF board, very nice to use and good bandwidth on the memory side too. If you can wait for it then do so.

PWM is barely breaking a sweat @ 5.2ghz 1.56v, so theres no lack of power there. Bodes well for SNB-E later this year.

Go with proper Hypers or good Micron and you wont regret the wait.

    Is it really that bad?
Foxconn Rattler P67 review (Quantum Force)
Based on the P67 chipset, we expected the Foxconn Rattler to allow us to easily overclock unlocked processors such as the Intel i5-2500K. However, with the initial P02 bios installed things were not simple. The CPU core multiplier was present under the Quantum BIOS, where we could set the multiplier higher than 33x and expect a performance boost. The problem was that even when we set the multiplier higher than 33x, the cpu speed was not getting any higher than the stock 3.3GHz:
Under the latest BIOS Ver. P04/P05, the CPU Core multiplier had vanished from the BIOS menu. We assume that there is something wrong with the BIOS since our processor has worked great with other P67 motherboards. This is something that Foxconn should look at and fix it:

NO they are idiots - the ratios are set under turbo multiplier the same as any other board.

The ratio they were trying to adjust that was removed was the base ratio (which you cant change, you can only change turbo ratios).

Memory support was the only real issue - but that issue was found and fixed before retail. Unfortunately with foxconn gone from the UK I never got a retail board and havent seen any for sale either.

From our local Plesio store (powered by plaisio.gr ) the price is about 147EUR and it seems very reasonable. Although there are very good and not too expensive Z68 boards by ASRock, for example, and now P67 seems somewhat outdated.
