but no x1 above the first 16x is missing unfortunately...

very fast on boot with a ssd lol from pressing the power button and be using windows 7 was in 15 sec

but more good new there another QF board in the road map and that will be nicer lol
but not to later this year.

Not much eye candy, but it looks very QF and layout is nice. Though, not interested cause me wants Z68 (or X68?).

I want BloodRage II. Or something with similar level of performace. Im very very happy that QF continue.. so.. try to suprise me in pleasant way in future.

Decent looking board. They should have really added another PCIE x16 slot, though, and an NF200 or a Hydra chip. Especially if they are going to ask more than $200 for it.
Oh, yeah, and paint the heatsinks!
But all in all, looks good!
Is that digital+analog PWM again?
Hope they are gonna use UEFI...

why another bloodrageII x58 is slow now and not worth time to make another board
wait for the new socket that replace that, then it fun again

you all complain about the price of QF board when we put a lot of stuff on
so we stop putting on stuff, which is why no nf200 and it not that good a chip.

yes the bios is UEFI, all the foxconn bios are, even new amd boards have UEFI

Have to agree with LT. Although the FBR was fun to play with, in my experiences it did not compare to the other x58 boards available, especially against eVGA and/or ASUS. Having to do a hardware mod to get the BCLK higher than 200 is a bit ridiculous.

There is no doubt my board was VERY stable, prolly the best I have ever owned, but not having the ability to really oc, put this board in the overpriced/unnecessary category.

I hope the next round of QF boards are more competitive, as I would love to support FoxCONN.

Don't like it, looks like a budget board; quite a step down from what I'm used to seeing from Quantum Force [reason why I bought their 2 most expensive boards in the past]. Too many PCie x1 slots, at least they should have left 3 PCie x16/8x slots for people doing SLI or Xfire with Physx. No water block is also a turn off for me since that means more money to be spent on an after market block.

EDIT: I just read it got no nVidia chipset onboard so SLI with Physx is out the door, too bad it would have made it a little more competitive with the other offerings. I'm no where near interested on P67, I'm waiting until later this year for the X68 [or whatever the code will be].

I said X68 .. which is exactly that "new socket". LGA 2011. (thats not year, thats number of supposed pins)

Don't get why there's complaints about this - nobody moans about Gigabyte's UD3R level boards - they're some of the most popular. 99% of the performance at 50% of the cost.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on one of these .


BR2 will be on z68. This is kinda like the IK2 .

PWM is an evolution of the Bloodrage > Inferno Katana design. It'll handle Sandybridge easy.

we will never use the name twice so no it not bloodrage
but yes socket 2011 is on the roadmap ( its not x68 as x6? is sandbridge), board has sli support.

i will say just saying add another pci-e slot is not as easy as you think lol, the reason is intel seem to be going backward not forward, what the saying mmmm less is more lol

as i say is a good solid board please give it a try but don't complain before you do.

yes you need more pcb layers for more pciE slots, and it only really makes sense with an nf200 or plx or hydra which cost a bit extra as well...
if this will be 150$ itll be nice price perf wise... but honestly, for 1155... does it make sense getting anything over the cheapest stable board out there?
cause everything that matters is integrated, and overclocking is all via multi...

i agree with telo, its sad that theres no highend board from qf... but oh well...
for a mainstream board i guess this is good...

Totally agree saaya - for sandybridge less is more. I'd still like to see a board with nothing but an ich, 2 pcie 16 (8x), 1 pcie 16 (4x) and 2 pci. Cant remember the last time I used the jmicron, onboard audio or onboard lan. Never used firewire either. Fully stripped out, just usb and sata so those southbridge lanes can be used for a physx slot. Thats a proper P67 gaming board .

Well, there is such board and u can turn off all the junk on it. Its relatively cheap also, 125-130 EURO here. AsRock P67 Extreme4 they call it

That board looks pretty nice escpecially if it is going to be priced around the TP67XE/Giga UD3P/Asrock Extreme4 range... look forward to reading some reviews and seeing where/how it gets priced here in the states.

Sorry if it sounds like trolling around, but board is good, price is very good, and UEFI is perfect, so its worth mention it. I was looking forward to see Foxconn P67 product, but two PCIe x16 doesnt work for me.

One exceptional feature is that third PCIe x16 does not turns off half of peripherals and slots, when running x4, like it is in all Asus boards(and GB, not sure).
I'm missing only selection which PCIe is first(still missing it on my BloodRAGE too)

I don't know who put 10 MB picture, shrunk and shown as 150x100 px thumbnail on Rattler's page, but he/she definitely have to fix this.

opps that sli bit was for the socket 1155 not 2011 (which does has sli as intel and nvidia are back in bed together)
