ASUS GTX580 DirectCU II power connector question ?

hi evry one
i have ASUS GTX580 DirectCU II and Zalman ZM750-HP power suplay with 6+8 bin for pci ex power connector , so im use Additional link 6 bin power connector To supply energy to the card but with 5 Wire only :







so What is the effect about performance , Because I feel some lag and drop gpu used some time 80%~85% with i7 920 @3.8g .
