Are they going to fix the problem I have where when I hold my mouse over the catalyst icon on the bottom right of XP, the Temp says 0? It's really annoying....

This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions, twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.

How is there an 11.4 preview when the 11.3s aren't even out? Do they really work on drivers that far in advance?

These drivers changed my Crash to Desktop in BF:BC2 into a hard lock. Step backwards from a very annoying problem, into a pain in the ass problem.

This driver is currently the only version to be able to play Dragon Age 2 without crash. However it would cause the GPU load of the primary card to be stuck at 100% unless I reboot.

If it's not a benching rig why the hell is it still running XP? Only like 6 months until it's officially ten years old!

No one else that I know of including myself has any such major BC2 issues. I play it daily still. Why don't you dial down that OC a little? Seriously, it'll help.

Bug free so far but I'm not running CF.

Hi, the IZ3D 120 Hz driver and Viewsonic PDG-150 DLP glasses. The PDG-150s are the only glasses of any kind with a switch to invert the lens. you will look like Roy Orbison wearing them but I game for several hours at a time and not a problem.
The IZ3D driver is 50% off (~$20usd) if you have an AMD 5xxx or 6xxx card. http://www.iz3d.com/detect/ Discount at final checkout.
Also 30 day free trial. http://www.iz3d.com/driver
There is a new driver coming soon, 1.13, so watch for it.

It's not my overclock since it happens at stock, yet furmark runs fine for hours. BC2 has at least 4 causes of CTD. I found that I do not crash as long as I do not play on punkbuster servers. Go figure that punkbuster causes more problems than it solves. I have (and so has a friend with the same problem) tried every thing I have though of or read on the internet to fix it. The one I have only effects win 7 64bit users, not card related (but it changes the symptoms). 11.2 I crash to desktop, 10.12 crash to desktop, 11.4 hard lock. My friend has it on a nvidia gtx260, he will white screen and sometimes hardlock, but playing on a non punkbuster server fixes it as well.

I feel your annoyance. I've had similar issues on my 5970 with this game and a different set of drivers. I've just stopped playing it and moved on to other things, out of frustration.

Good jump in benchmarks on the crossfire setup. Extra 1000 pts vantage and 500 3DMARK11. Didn't take a screenshot of the 11.2 run on 3DMARK11.

OK it seems to be some sort of "memory leakage" bug - If I don't reboot my machine for like 48 hours or so, the GPU load of the first card would stay at 100%, and any UAC prompt for user privilege elevation of Win7, or alt+tab switching into/out of game would cause seconds of lag.

I hope they fix this bug in the final release.

It's too bad to hear about that I

EDIT: by some googling it seems to be specific to 5000 series users (both single card users and CrossfireX users), but not yet to 6000 series. Is it true?

I don't usually post in this forum, but I thought I should post in this thread to help you.

Do NOT bother to try to fix those hard lock ups.

It is nothing to do with your graphic cards, neither with your Drivers.

It happens both in Nvidia and ATI, but mainly in ATI with the 6000 series cards.

Here are hundreds of people complaining about it:

    http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5401851.page

As you see, it mainly happens to people who use Punkbuster + 6000 series cards + Monitoring program (MSI Afterburner, TRixxx, EVGA Precission, GPU-Z...).

If you have any of those, close it, and try to play again, hard lock ups SHOULD dissapear (I say should, because they do not seem to help the issue for some people, but most people get this fixed by just closing those programs).

So yeah, don't blame the 11.4 Preview drivers, not their fault, it is completely Punkbuster's fault, it all started on Wednesday 9th March when Punkbuster released an update.

Many people are complaining about it, but Punkbuster didnt release any fix yet, so the only "fix" we have is to close MSI Afterburner (Or Whatever you're using for a custom fan profile or OSD monitoring) and enjoy the game.

So yeah, I hope I was able to help you.
