    SupremeFX X-Fi 2 or CL X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro 64mb PCI?

Got a Rampage III Formula coming in the mail in the next few days to replace my Classy board. Would it be worth transferring my PCI X-Fi card over or would the Asus' on-board be better? Haven't been able to find a lot of information on how they compare, so any advice is greatly appreciated

i would think that a real x-fi would be better than a codec pack on realtek onboard

I haven't been able to find any information on the SupremeFX X-Fi 2. There's lots of information available on the SupremeFX X-Fi (without the 2, so I'll call it 1), which seems to be an ordinary Realtek audio chip with Creative software branding.

I'm wondering if I can get some information on the actual audio chip of this newer version and it's functions. Is it still just a rebrand?
I'm wondering if it supports LFE crossover on specific speakers? I don't need crossover on my front speakers because they're full-range, but just the side and rear speakers. Is that possible?
What are the specs of the D-A converter? 192kHz, 24-bit? What is the signal to noise ratio?

If you are confused by my questions but want to help maybe someone can take a couple of screenshots of all the options you have in the control panel and run Rightmark Audio Analyzer for the Signal-To-Noise ratio?

    Thanks in advance,
    -Xavier.

Judging from Maximus IV Gene-Z's manual, it seems X-Fi 2 is another Realtek chip running Creative Codec.

Neither, go with a Xonar PCI-E. PCI bus is antiquated, dying, and almost dead.
