How much more? If it's just the extra to cover cost on shipping, and maybe extra staff for this 11 day turn around then they are probably selling short.
This is ridiculous, why the heck should we pay more for something that sould have been good from the beggining?
Cost extra? That is extremely lame.
"we f**ked up, so we will charge you extra for correcting it"....
They better get that price equal to the bugged boards and get those redrawn from the market, this is UNACCEPTABLE!

More expensive? And still without UEFI for Gigabyte boards?
This badmarketing we'll bring Intel to hell
Not sure why these boards should cost more than before. If they are trying to capitalize on being first to market, it's still bad form to charge extra for Intel's misstep. Disappointing to see that kind of marketing.

Where are you hearing they are more expensive? Also, from my understanding currency fluctuations in the past month or so have caused prices to rise in several regions. Particularly APAC.
Is this the first time we've even seen the stepping in big bold letters printed on the cardboardbox and even included in the productmodel naming when we're talking hardware related products? It would seem so. It's a very good move though to clearly indicate it even if they'd probably want us to clear out all the old stock. :p

This will surelly helps a lot retailers not to have to answer a hundred of time if it's the new board or the older one. This will also helps end users buying faulty boards
More expensive? Hmmm...

$10 less what I paid for my B2 almost 2 months ago same retailer.
not more expensive.. or the difference is just caused by " inherent "shop difference prices.

I caused this Currency uproar, Here, in our region the difference is $15 on a UD5 [2nd Post ]. P67A-UD5 B2 is $330 the B3 is $345 and so goes the rest, B3 are simply more expensive here than the B2. And since a good friend of mine had a GB , he changed his and he had to pay the difference also I ended up kinda , unhappy with the approach of local dealers in this god forsaken wood hole.
- But I pointed it out , in our Local [ Whenever local is ]

The pricing on Provantage.com is about the same as the B2 steppings for the US. However, the B3 boards are not available through Provantage or any other US etailer / retailer. Too bad your resellers charged you more for the new stepping.

I love my P55A-UD3 but one of the things that kills me is the Sata ports. Why the heck doesn't Gigabyte use 90 degree sata ports on their lower priced boards. Honestly it's one of those things that makes me want to look at another manufacturer when I finally do pick up a P67 board. The standard P67 UD3 even has bare vrms. Are these types of things becoming a pattern?

After owning the gigabyte ud4 p67, i can say its one of the worst boards i have ever used for overclocking, this time around, i will be going with an Asus board.
interesting you say that. I built 3 gaming systems based on SB before the chipset issues all on Asus Mobos and I noticed similar issues... the BIOS's (or UEFI or whatever) seemed to be really immature and the systems seem to act really strangly when OCing RAM. CPU OCing was just fine but tryin to do anything RAM wise was a a total PITA. Im willing to be BIOS fixes will change that but I was not the happiest camper.
I will personally be getting a MIVE tho when they come back on the market because there really is not other options....

I'm also dissapointed with Gigabyte and my P67-UD5. The cold boot issues are unacceptable to me. I have to reboot 2 times in order to get my system to run, everytime i start my PC. Once its running everything is fine but thats not enough. This time around im going with Asus Deluxe.
