Thanks for taking your time and energy to putting all of this together and share it with us! Originally, I wanted to get a BenQ 24" and run it at crazy fps. After seeing your thread, it's made me reconsider. Even tho I cant do your 3x30" setup, I think I can at least do a single 30". I'm thinking a 6990+6970 trifire would be my best bet for a 30". I'll sleep on it.

Might want to consider 3 6950s unlocked to 6970s and OCd to 950 for $750 after rebate on Newegg. Slightly more than a single 6990.

4X 7970 Quad-Fire + 3930k totally beat that system without any problems. Just look at my score on OCN vs Vega. I beat him in every benchmarks easily.
