Question Best AMD motherboard for Overclocking?

Hey guys, its me again doing some basic question, just to keep you busy

Like the tltle says, Im looking for the best AMD motherboard for OC only, today I was having one of my epics flash in the train and was thinking how funny was OCing my old Athlons or Semprons and decided that those times could come back without trouble, but since those days could be called ancient and I have been quite occupied with my work and family, I haven't pay a lot of attention to AMD, that's why I want to know wich is the best motherboard for OC nowadays one could get, I was thinking of the Asus Crosshair IV Formula but I really don't know how well it's or if it just words.

Anyways guys, hoping to get your opinions soon and I promise some pics when I buy the things

Other than the Asus boards recommended above, the Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 is just as good with clocking as the UD7 and is a normal ATX size and significantly cheaper. Otherwise the now-forgotten-but-still-great-for-its-price MSI 890FXA-GD70.

Great guys! Thanks a lot! So I will have to pick from the Asus C4F, UD5 or the GD70 that are the choices in my country with a good price. I think that a reseller also has the UD7, is worth it ir with the other choices I will be having great results with it?

Beside of that, what cpus do you recommend me to start with and wich batches I should try to find?

    Thank you again guys!

Nothing wrong with that. I like having both flavors myself. AMD price/performance is great to have as a work PC and Intel for awesome performance during gaming.

    And that's an old sig

Simply, just for fun and this year I want to be active in the OCing comunity, also helping my team with some points I think it would be a nice plus dont you think?

Anyway guys, probably it would be a C4F, the M3F just give me a really nice time with it so I will give a shot to Asus again for AMD

Keep in mind that if you want to go extreme with the overclocking the C4F/E are going to be a pain to learn as the HT speed fluctuates by about 2MHz. When you're running at 200x32 (for 6.4GHz) that's going to mean your CPU speed fluctuates by as much as 64MHz - that's the difference between stable and a crash. Just keep that in mind

I'd go with a Biostar 890FX I think someone on here broke some records with it. Plus all around Biostars high end usually is rock solid for ocing.
    i3 2100, MSI H61M-E33. 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws.
MSI GTX 460 Twin Frozr II. 1TB Caviar Blue.
    Corsair HX 620, CM 690, Win 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Biostar hits nice clocks but traditionally has pathetic efficiency.

Hmm, I haven't see too much good action coming from that motherboard since it has an 980 nVidia chipset, and my experience from nVidia chipset with OC well, it wasn't near good hehe.

A question that just come in my mind today, is the next generation of chipset and motherboards coming soon? Maybe it will be good to wait for it? Or are they going to be a totally different socket and thing?

Hmmp, but it will be something totally new or the socket will remain the same as the actuals AM3? The question is, if I buy right now a UD5 lets say, I would be able to plug a Bulldozer on it or it would be the same if I intent to plug a LGA1366 into a 478?

AM3 CPU's will find themselves quite comfortable with AM3+ motherboards

So for the Xtreme on Xtreme Systems who can't afford all at once, you can buy the motherboard first and buy an AM3+ CPU later
