You guys have me itching now...

    I have a 2x1 kit of DDR3 OCZ Platinum 1600 7-7-7 1.9v, pretty sure they're D9's.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I doubt they would do that well on my 1090T, but If I get a hair I still have my 965 I could stick in the C4F....

    Killer results as always chew*....

EDIT: Are those #'s on air Infra?
    Reguardless, pretty damm impressive bud!
I'd be more than happy with those results.

That NB speed is outragous, I dunno what you are complaining about :p
(/rant on) My 965 did 3 Ghz NB exact through 32M, wasn't prime stable even at 1.45v. My 565 doesn't like to go over 2850, doesn't matter what volts, it doesn't scale over 1.35v.
My 1100T does 3 Ghz NB stable at 1.35v, but even booting 3.1 on water is impossible at 1.4v.
Those ram clocks are crazy for 32M stable on a 955 at 3:10 divider if I'm not mistaken.
Also, none of my CPU's do 32M above 4300 >.<
Darn GTX2 >.>, my STT sticks only do 32M up to about 1870 6-6-6-18 at 3:10 without cold. (/rant off)

Idling at 4c outside in the porch is my 565, 2500 RPM 120mm fan on the Ballistix, still trying to figure out how to get even 1700 6-6-6-18 stable...

Dave you should get the ol' 965 out and play around with all of us XD

Well you certainly proved the fact that 890 should be used with thuban,High clocks on 890 are because it runs slack

NB gains aren't worth that much, some but maybe 1 sec per multi up.

I've never worked with a 790 DDR3 board, but it does seem they are more efficient Only that Rev 1 890GX UD3H and this 890FX board. I'd pull the UD3H out if it didn't have some serious issues with compatibility. I remember doing 1800 7-6-5-15 or something of the like in 1M, but running 1800 for any amount of time at any latency was extremely unstable. I remember running 1600 CAS 7 at 2.2v CAS 6 was impossible above 1500.

Infra's results were good clock wise, I guess a little off efficiency wise?

Well, as much as I hated to do it, I carefully pealed back the cheesy heatspreader on one of those sticks (wasn't easy! thats some good thermal tape!).

I thought they were D9's just by the way they behaved....
Low and behold, I was right!

I'm so disorganized from the move right now, and I don't want to tear the main rig apart, but it looks like a good test subject for the BioStar once I get everything settled...

I still have alot of work to do as far as the move, and I'll probably be too late to join in the fun...
I'll probably necro this thread in week or so though, even though I doubt I'll be able to post the kind of #'s you guys have shown...

Interesting. Be careful pulling the heatspreaders back though, it's easy to just pull the chips right off the PCB without any warning...

I'd like to see ya get good clocks outta those

You're on I have no GTX2 or CPU that clocks well though, so I'd have to take temps down about 20c for clocks like his

Thanks, Dave . Water on the cpu and air on board and rams.

This 555 is from the newer Deneb with 3 letters. It does easily 4.5GHz, even Cinebench stable on normal ambients, 4.7GHz 3DMark 01 is what I've tested on it. CPU-NB is ok, but 400Mhz behind Thuban (mine can run 3.6GHz on 2 cores). Ambient temp was ~15C, required to be stable on this CPU-NB speed. But you're right, my STT can't do that, at least on air.

Yeah, it seems it's not efficient. I pulled down 2 seconds from going 1880 6-6-6 to 1940 6-7-6 and another 2 seconds with 1932 6-6-6. With my lack of skills it's the best I can do atm. Such high clock on 890FX isn't very easy, it required higher voltage than I usually use. Let's say I used "enough" volts for these timings
I would love to test with Crosshair III, but I sold mine and that particular board actually didn't clock the memory at all.
The other one I have at the moment is M4A89GTD, not sure about its efficiency, but it should be similar to C4F.

Yep its alot harder to clock the ram on CH III F, than the CH 4 F. I can crank hypers to the moon on the ch4's .

Think I got 1000 C6 32m stable at some point, still couldn't catch PSC though on that board.

A guy locally has a 2x2GB OCZ Platinum kit for sale. They're rated 1600MHz 7-7-7 @ 1.9v, but they're 2GB modules. Any idea on what might be inside?

At that voltage I'd guess D9s, but the 2GB modules didn't clock as well. Elpida BASE is also an option I think?
