    D9's 6-6-6 1800+ no way......

Fooling around tonight I decided I wanted to be different in the hwbot ddr3 high clock challenge, everyone using hyper and psc.....lets break out some d9's

Anyway, a new personal best for me on d9's in fact might be the first 32m stable run on d9's @ 6-6-6 1800+ ever on AMD......note the highlighted, its not hard to suicide

Overall timings were pretty agressive to, no slacking off to do it.

    That's pretty nice!

Did you try 6-5-5 as well? And what's your Vdimm?

Nice chew, Could you post a pic of the IC ? havent seen d9 chips since using my crucial dimms...

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    Volts yah those kinda volts.

6-6-6 is hard enough @ 1800 on AMD dan, damn near impossible everytime i have tried before, forget 6-5-5 your talking like 1720-1760 tops for those timings.

Johnny these are old dimms. I just tossed a rig together and everything worked like butter tonight, i've attempted this on AMD many times no luck. Intel however was cake.

I might add these aren't GTR, they're GTS

Well, my D9GTR top out at 880MHz 6-5-5 on the REX as well, so it's not that easy even on Intel, but it might be my board, I can't really run Vdimm any higher than 2.2V without getting errors in MemTest.

I didn't have my D9GTR yet when I had the AMD board, would have been interesting to test them.
My D9GTS suck at CL6, which kit are you using?

NICE results getting that stable, I couldn't all the way up to 2.45v
Voltage tolerance for me is the major difference, all my GTR GTS suck though tbh.

Hypers are the way to go with Deneb on that challenge.
Oh really that was just a dry run with D9.

Yah Dan well the challenge for deneb has to be 1800+ and i wasn't having none of it at 7-7-6. I willed them to run the speed I needed to be competitive

That run is the only run you will see.

Not risking killing my last set of d9 anymore than I already have.

I hit my (chispy's set) D9's with 2.35v I believe in the past for extended periods of time...dunno how much it degraded if at all but I remember having trouble doing 1800 7-6-5-18 1M on the Asus board like they did @ UD3H before at 2.2v

I remember doing 1600 CAS 6 but it needed smth like 2.2v for that.

I <3 D9, wish I had another kit but I'm lookin around for JNL and GTS to torture the 565 with

I'm determined to drop the 565 in and give the kit a whirl. It's currently running 1600 C8 with the 1100T at 1.75v

I ran a kit of D9's. Best I ever got was like 1500 Cas 6. Great stuff, Chew.

Nah this chip needs some cold for more NB, it doesn't really scale with volts to well this chip, but cold and it flies.

I got some more tuning to do anyway.

I never really used this CH III to much, think its one of those boards that I had that got flaky with cold so I put it aside.

Or if it was about Hypers - well, I concluded that from your previous post:

Including that tweak, yes. It's a shame for me I can't utilize GTX2 potential...
I'm gonna play a little more if I have time this weekend, but I don't expect anything groundbreaking
Good that I can run all day long Pi 32M on that Deneb without errors, not the same with Thuban at 2000+

I'll take a guess, 2.55-2.7v considering the board lets you go up to 2.8 without vmods
    That's crazy

I corrupted my OS last night running 32M at 1760 6-6-6-18, gonna keep pushin. Don't think these 1600 C8 sticks of very good bin.
