Just as a reference, the title of this thread is called Upcoming PC games release dates (US) not Recently released PC games. A thread for each year is too hard for me to maintain constantly and concisely. The moderators have the ability if they so desire to put this inside of the PC Gaming section.

I was just saying if you're going to do "upcoming", why not just do a thread for each year (e.g. PC Games 2010, PC Games 2011, etc.) Then ask the Moderators to archive it to the PC Gaming section once the new year starts.

It would be so much easier to sort/read and would serve as a fantastic reference for everyone here. This has so much potential. You (or someone else, hell I'd volunteer) could even add metascore ratings next to each title after they're released. Could wind up being the best "quick list" of PC games I can think of.

Hmm that is a good idea. I shall keep the list in it's current format, but with a released section down the bottom, with the metacritic ratings given beside each release.

Then each year I will archive a copy to the PC Gaming section of all the games and their ratings of that particular year when it has ended. I shall do it this way as I can archive the copy myself over to the PC Gaming section without the need to ask for help from the moderators.

Sorry to say but I think you're wrong about GRID 2 being announced for a 2011 release. Last Codemasters talked about it on the DiRT 3 forum they said GRID 2 was not to come out until 2012 because they decided to go ahead with F1 2010 and DiRT 3 first since DiRT 2 was so successful.

Many of us of course argued that GRID was also very successful, but they seem to be catering more to rally and off road than road racing lately. F1 2010 was an abysmal failure. They'd have been MUCH better off working on GRID 2 and fleshing out the open wheel racing in it more instead of making F1.

Call this a hopeful release date then. A hopefully they'll realise there is much more money and success to be made from a Grid 2 launch release date.

It's unlikely that Star Wars: The Old Republic will be out this year. Q1 - Q2 2012 is a better estimate.

Sadly, it seems, a lot of potential is shrouded in mystery from all the bugs the game has on release. Maybe a patch or something may fix some of the issues people are reporting, but I'm afraid that the damage is already done to it's reputation.

Yeah I know, but I think it should be noted.
I wouldn't of known about it if I didn't try to figure out some more info on the zombie maps.

It was about an hour ago I found that there were expansion/map packs for cod 5, 6 and 7.

I think it should be on the list, otherwise how are you supposed to even know about it...
It's not like I've ever took them online so I didn't know...

Seriously though, what's wrong with listing expansion packs.
I would look forward to those then most of the games coming out these days.

I shall leave expansions off for now. A consideration mind you, though some expansions are quite small in size and say only give you extra costumes and a level or two worth of gameplay for example.

Map packs and other DLC is not an "expansion pack".

Now Immortal Throne was an expansion pack.

Beyond the Sword was an expansion pack.

Good point. BF Vietnam and W3: Frozen Throne were also some good expansions of old.
