    Temperature control

Hi everyone, I'm about to buy a new pot an I aldo need a thermometer.

    Which one do you recomend?

I have found the Fluke 52 II quite interesting and I've found one for 170 $ secondhand in eBay.

Do you know any other in the 150-200$ price range?

It would be better if it has 2 thermocouples like the Fluke 52 II.

    Regards

Not sure how this matches up to Fluke price wise, but I know from experience they are good meters. $120 new on Amazon.

They also make a single input version.

The UEI DT302 is another option in the same price range. Great screen and fast refresh rate(I think 5Hz? maybe 10Hz) -> http://www.ueitest.com/product-dt302.html

UEI's are garbage, unless you like replacing the battery every couple weeks. Or did they fix that flaw?

I don't think I've had to replace the battery in my DT302 yet, have at least 100+ hours on it.

The DT30x series is top notch on everything. Fast refresh, huge screen, accurate and don't eat batteries. So far I've had to replace them once since I bought the thing about a year ago.

    Yes, I love my DT302s
