Several years ago someone took 2 XP-120s apart and soldered them together in a similar fashion to this Prolimatech Genesis. Custom made so the upright section blew out through the case exhaust.
Edit: Hilarious! When I googled dual XP-120 it led back here!

I wonder if many reviewers do know how to do a proper job , because cooling reviews (cpu blocks and heatsinks) are the most tiring reviews to make, as they require tons of job in order to check for consistency. They shouldn't even bother doing nothing I they won't do it properly.
This forum is not Xtremestystems because of nothing
When I look at the base of these coolers:
You get only a few Heat pipes directly on SB's HS, the rest will be hanging in the air. becouse SB is really small.
The problem is not specific to this cooler tho, most of them are designed for bigger i7-45nm or 6-core CPUs. I was hoping new coolers would address the issue, but they didn't pay attention to the small size of SB, I guess.

There will be a lot more reviews out soon, the shipment of the coolers arrived last week, so there are a lot more samples at review sites now =)
Prolimatech did a great job with Genesis, the higher the TDP, the bigger the performance gap to other HSFs becomes.

The Genesis is really not for RAM overclocker....it is really a major drawback since it must be deattached first if we want to change a Dominator RAM.
But for a steady system, which won't be modified again, it is a good option, since you don't have to change anything especially the ram again.
So...it won't be my cooler, as I change ram often to check their overclockability
