    My personal record

Hehe, may be lame compared to others but this is my first time ever breaking 2k on ram Clearly I'm new to memory OC

I'm wondering if you guys could give me some help on my timings.. I can run SP 32m @ 2134 8-10-8 but I get the following error when I go down to 7-10-8

Also, at what point should I be worried about VTT voltages harming my Bloomfield? What about DIMM voltage? What is DIMM DQ VREF?

well, using a classified and beginning now with RAM oc is a bit contraire, but however, the Problem is, that your RAM is limiting you. The RAm is Speced to 1600, and now it runs with nearly 2200 on your Board, so thats quite impressing as well

    some Dimm VOltage may help

i think test with Hyper Pi 32Mx8threads is more stress for RAM

This may be true, but I don't have a complete lack of understanding...I have a vague idea of the concept behind ram OC just not what each abbreviation stands for and slacking which / tightening some helps with stability.

Yes I was quite happy when I heard the POST beep for 2134 booting

I've got 1.7v set in BIOS, HW monitor is reporting 1.75v, I need to go get my MM to make sure what it's at. I don't need to blow up this set right now

I see, I'll try with 4 threads..will this lower my score too? Did you guys notice this is only a 2x2 kit on x58? Does that make a difference?

    whats your current vtt?

    8-10-8 should be fine...

triple channel helps a little in some applications..but if you're into benching and competiting..tripple channel helps

Right now I have +150mV, which hw monitor reports as somewhere near 1.45..but I'm going to check with my multi meter in a minute.

    Yeah I ran 32m @ 8-10-8

Right now I'm doing it for benching fun/learning. If I get anything worthy, I want to submit it to the ddr3 high clock challenge. So far the 8-10-8 got me 8m11s I think.
I'm going to disable HT and maybe drop 2 cores and see what I can do..but now I'm not posting at 2134 with same settings as last night. Maybe I degraded already

edit: actual VTT is 1.33v ish via my MM, and DIMM is 1.7v

    Worked my way down to 2134 7-10-7 and I've bested an 8m 6s 32m

What timings are better left higher and what is better left lower? I've got tREFI as high as it can go, 1023, and for everything else I'm just going to slowly try tightening it and see results.
I've got tRAS down to 24 (testing now) and tRFC to 82..gonna keep trying to lower tRFC.

Also, for 32m, what can I do in the OS to help speed this up? Run win XP x64? I hear people say they do "mods"? Run as minimal background process as possible?
