    Chilled SB Ideas & Advice

I have been wanting to put together a chilled liquid cooling loop. I want to use it for my SB CPU build and a GTX 580. My computer is downstairs. The ambient temp stays around 60 - 65 F. I do not have the freezer, 2600K, GTX 580 or MB yet.

These are a couple fairly simple ideas. I would love to here anyones advice or thoughts! Thanks in Advance!

First I have thought of using a small freezer or refrigerator/freezer as a cooled reservoir. I have seen one on here already. Mine would be smaller in size.

Second I have thought about taking the same frig/freezer and stick my PA 120x3 radiator in it. Then run 3 Ultra Kaze fans on the radiator. I am just not sure if I would need to have some sort of outlet for the air being pushed around inside????

    THANKS!
    E8400 Oc'd to 4.2GHz Max (Not 24/7)
Thermalright IFX-14 Air Cooler (2 Ultra Kaze Fans)

GTX 280 Video Card Oc'd to 700Hz Core
    4GB G.Skill PC2 8500 CAS 5
80GB VelociRaptor soon to try 3 in Raid 0
Coolermaster COOLER MASTER HAF 922 Mid Tower
    Corsair 850TX

Both ideas would be far less efficient (and viable) at producing chilled liquid than building/buying a chiller.

If you're looking at just a series of bench runs, you could always use a bucket of ice water.

Just make sure to insulate your tubing properly.

What chillers are good? Can you use a aquarium chiller?

    THANKS!
