57x with 102 blck on a 2500k, imagine what you could do on a 2600k with more cache

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Madd whats the default vid on that chip

    I'm guessing 1.05-1.1 or less?

Johhny, he can gain more from hypers tuned right than the cache

Still another 3+ secs in there somewhere without more cache.

Expecting 2-3s gain with hypers, but mine just couldn't get over 2133 C7 with tight timing

Thx for the info, just about where I calculated.

Quick question, have you run across any other chips near that vid range and if so were they Multi challenged?

Think I finally have it patterned out after about 10 chips or so between me and my buddy........just missing that one last piece of the puzzle.

    Total chips tested 8pcs

1x 1.05v x56 mp or mhz wall (whatever u call it)
This one is funny...can get to 5.9g (x58 multi is ok) on another board, but stuck @ any 2d bench
    1x 1.14v x55 wall
    1x 1.156v x 58 wall

Ok weird that may toss a wrench into things.

I was starting to think multis may be locked via vid's

I thought so ...but nah !
The ones that stand the cold better could easily break the wall

Like this chip, had a 80-100mhz gain @ 0c over reguler air temp. & 50mhz more gain @ -65c over -20c, but no good lower than -80c ( temp. of cores though)

I'll focus on VID 1st, then the temp. next
Will bin few pcs more & see. Hope to get things patterned out !
