Monster Under the Ice Single Stage

I had some free time today so I decided to get started on a big order I have to get out for Under the Ice . Big 18CC low temp Danfoss with sized 3/4 hp condenser. These are gonna freeze any 980X to the bone.

Big Stepper evaporator with 4ft 6in suction line for extra capacity.

No time to load test right now. I'll do that in the morning and post results. -40C with 300W load would be nice for me.

I believe he, along with sdumper, are buying condensing units off eBay.

Not sure if this was a question or a remark but I figure I'd answer for the sake of others.

    Quite professional indeed.
One suggestion, with this size build move to a larger non-spun filter.
It's inadequate normally with this larger style build.

But is it really? Not like he is ingesting minute traces of water from a pinholed air exchanger or from leaky schraeder valves.

Vacuuming is as and will always be a matter of proportions. Larger system, same amount of vac means more particulates/moisture.

Yeah but we aren't talking about adding 30 foot suction line and discharge runs with 20 feet of piping in the air handler like on an A/C unit. Whatever, trivial component to argue about.

Was just a point of improvement Chris, I've had better performance with larger filters when I have a huge condenser.

gas is r507 and the condenser is for a 3/4hp compressor, but it is beefy.

And what about the noise level? Also 'beefy'? -)
unfortunately I hven't seen any silent fans of this type yet, at least before plugging them in via 3-5 mF cap.
