Where did you buy your 2600?

I have seen lots of posts giving batch numbers etc but lets be honest there are not many retailers that are going to know or give out batch numbers of there chips.So can you guys and girls please list where you got your plus 50x 2600s from please.
Its only so us poor ppl have a good chance of picking up a good one.

I have spoke to a guy at scan (UK shop) and he said they are only getting x49 chips atm,so bad that they have had to lower there pre-clocked systems from 4.9 to 4.7/4.8

51x at the egg, 53x and 55x 2600k's at microcenter Fairfax, VA

I've been able to get batch # from both Micro Center and Fry's here locally. One MC keeps some of their inventory in a glass case in the "Build Your Own PC" section so it is pretty easy to have them open it up and check both batch and serial number. The other MC keeps thier higher value cpu locked up in back store room and I have to ask someone to go back and check for me. The Fry's store keeps their inventory in a limited access steel cage behind the register which is manned by a dedicated employee. I usually ask the person in the cage to check numbers for me as well.


Edit: SB batch numbers (hunting) really seem to be hit or miss even within the same batch.
