    Test Results

Now lets take a look at some preliminary tests, in order to see if the boar function well when the ram is pushed above 2000Mhz.
I also found out that a small increasement in memory voltage (1.68v)

In the next few days, i ll upload some results with 890FXA-UD7 too. Just to see if its worth to take a 990FX motherboard for an AM3 CPU.
Finally if everything goes as initially planned i will also test the board at subzero temperatures on LN2 with my precious Phenom II X4 955

Having spent some time with the motherboard i think its rather amazing but is has some minor issues with the bios. Allthough bios issues are to be expected with an ES board - ofcourse it will be solved.

I was taken aback by the fact that Crosshair V Formula has a second CPU power connector.
I asked them why they didnt choose and 8pin connector instead and they replied with the following video.

I would like to thank Asus for the motherboard and the incredible BIOS support

Well done Alex! What's the max stable ram frequency you've achieved?
