    Google earth oddity

Ive been using google earth 5.0 quite a bit and always noticed some lag. I have tried between OpenGL mode and DX9 but the stutter continues....but i have recently noticed that when im running the program, my gpu doesn't increase from 400Mhz. Is it that google earth just hasn't been added to ATIs drivers?

Try disabling Hardware Acceleration for Flash.
Easiest way is to go to youtube and right click a video.

I'm using google earth 5.0 app and have no problems in OpenGL or DX, though I have it set at OpenGL right now.

Your rig is more than enough for the app so HW should not be a problem. Did you try to close down background apps such as desktop gadgets or monitoring tools? It may be interfering with your drivers or GE or using resources at the same time.

I only have the OS, Web Browser, a few desktop gadgets, SpyBot3d, ccc and Radeon Pro running.

Thanks for the input, i realized i just had the settings set alittle higher then what i could handle; i turned down the AA and texture quality (detail) its pretty smooth...the gpu is still at 400 but i doubt thats a fix i can do ( driver end )
