Guys, what is code 45 on M4E? How do I clear bios on the fly to keep things flowing? If I stuff one bios up and switch over to the other what happens to the first one? Is it reset?

Why wont this mobo run my 2133 Mushkin Redlines at default speed when my P8P67 EVO will?

    1) Clear BIOS on-the-fly? The board will require a reset when BIOS is cleared.

    2) Your settings will reset when you switch BIOSes.

    3) The ROG BIOS is tighter in sub-timings and this may be causing issues with the Mushkin Kit. Relax the timings (I would look at tRRDD/DR etc to start) or increase VCCIO and see if the memory controller can handle it.

I will rephrase that- when I reset it makes the single stage go into a warm down cycle then has to pull down again before the mobo can restart, its very annoying when playing with bios settings that arent working ....

This mobo doesnt even like 1866 with these rams either, which high end rams are best suited for this mobo? I have some 2133-8-9-8-24 g.skills coming, will these work better with this mobo?

nah it only comes after changing ram settings, its definately ram related, as raja said above.

That's because power has to be cut for CMOS clear, nothing that we can do about that. You need a SS controller that can be configured to stay in power up mode.

Most PSC based sticks work fine.

Could be something else causing an issue with that. Fresh install of the OS usually clears up cards that aren't being picked up by the OS.

The 2nd gpu don't get recognized in bios also, boot in windows, still no 2nd gpu. Reboot pc and 2nd gpu is recognized (sometimes need to reboot 2 times).
Disabled HPET in bios and so far so good, boots every time with 2 gpu's recognized

Only seen this happen if there are two different BIOSes used on the board and the user switches between them often. Other than that, have not had anyone else I know have to do this including me on my testing here

My second (and third) card were recognized by OS (fresh install) but couldnt enable SLI until i disabled HPET. After i disabled no more issues at all with SLI.

Have you tried at stock clocks? I've lost SLI with HPET enabled when running too low PCH on x58. My supposition was the decreased timing accuracy with HPET disabled reduces stress on the chipset.

I've had no issues with P67 though. Maybe try playing with PCH/NF200 voltages?
