I'm using the latest ''official'' one: 0901.

Everything is working fine, except Windows update messing my Win 7 install by installing ''ACS-6xxx'' drivers, confusing the NEC USB3 and Marvell SATA6 drivers with those. It was a mess. 2 hours of black screen of death, until reading somewhere how to get rid of it.

Now everything is fine. Just be careful when installing Windows Update. Be sure to NOT install, and also ''hide'', any ACS-6xxx updates or drivers. There is NO ACS-6xxx component on our board. Windows update is confused.

After hours of stability testing (and gaming), I now have my 24/7 settings with my i7 2600K and Asus Maximus IV. Temps never goes over 60 on high-load (Prime, LinX).

    4900 Mhz (49X100) @ 1.35v. Great little chip.

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1635578

    -Vcore = 1.35v
    -Intel PLL overvolting = Auto
    -VRM Frequency = 350
    -Phase Control = Extreme
    -Duty Control = Extreme
    -LLC = 75%
    -Manual RAM timings

    Everything else is at auto.

I could probably push it alot more, but for now I'm happy. I was able to do 51X100 at 1.39, but didn't try to go higher Have things to do. Will try harder next week-end. Great little motherboard.

    Amazing chip/dimms you mean

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

5.1 (51X100) rock-stable at 1.42v. Was able to play Borderlands 4 hours in a row without any problems at 5.1!

    -HT ON! Temps are good!
    -Intel PLL overvoltage OFF
    -LLC Max (100%)
    -VRM freq = 350
    -Phase Control = Extreme
    -Duty Control = Extreme
    -RAM settings manual

    Everything else on Auto.

I have to work, but tonight I will try pushing it to 5.4.

Just before going to work, I was able to try 5.2 (52X100) at the same 1.42v, but got an error in Prime after 50 minutes. Not a BSOD, just 1 error on 1 thread.

    But now I must work.

Now surfing and typing this message at 5.4 (54X100) @ 1.48 with Intel PLL overvoltage OFF!

    I'm not a die-hard OCer, so I'm not confortable going over 1.5v...

I was able to boot at 5.5 (55X100) @ 1.48, PLL overvoltage OFF, but got some errors after 3 minutes in Prime. But I'm ''afraid'' to go over 1.5v. I'm a sissy.

Wondering if this has the vcore problem limit like some Asus mobos do? Need to know if it can do over 1.54v.

Only have to disable voltage monitoring in uefi to get rid of the bios error message.

Don't think so. I've been in Windows at 1.75V. Haven't tried on a publicly available BIOS though.

Some people have tried that on the Deluxe and WS mobo but with no success. I have the Pro micro and don't have that problem. Don't think the Pro version has it either.
