1409 , changes Over 1407 – adds bios rom flash back -> from one rom to another -> to fix problem of BCLK unable to change.
‘System will shutdown to do BIOS Flashback. Do not turn off AC while you see the ROG Connect LED blinking. It will take up to 8 minutes, please be patient.’

Because maybe you have right. I flash this new one card with bios from second card. Maybe here is problem.

It should be 4MB, at least the one i just installed is.

Malik has solved problem with SLI. Just flash all two gpu's from evga vendor vbios.

PCIe slots 2 and 4 will get you x16 speed via the NF200 chipset. Almost always the performance is better using PCIe slots 1 and 3 at x8 speed because of the latency of the NF200.

I confirm the SLI problem (I have two 580 GTX)

It just don't wont to work with the latest 1409 bios . With 1485 is fine.

When using 1409 , with any driver up to 270.X it doesn't give you the option to select SLI in nvidia control panel . Only thing you can select is the physx processor .
If you try with the 275.X drivers and select SLI , the nvidia panel freezes and the 2nd VGA gives a yellow exclamation in device manager .

Hi,

Are you running stock GPU BIOSes? If you are:

Try uninstalling the second card via device manager, and then reinstall, wait for standard VGA drivers to install and then reboot and reinstall the nV drivers.

If that does not work then a reinstall may be needed.

The first VGA is a MSI 580GTX Lightning.
The 2nd is one MSI 580GTX twinfrozer/oc with bumped clocks in order to match the 1st card .

I'll play with the 2nd card bios . Maybe there is something i can do ...
