your chips seem to scale far over 1,8v.
i dont have luck with mine, most of them dont scale above 1,75v anymore... some of them wont even boot over 1,8v

which tool did you use for the last few mhz? amd overdrive?
    thanks for sharing

Bios. validation made with a straight shot multi change.

Pot's make a huge difference on amd, which make a huge difference in usable voltage granted some chips have a voltage wall but voltage tolerance is all part of my binning process

This is a totally diff chip, diff batch and week, binned for a total different purpose but it shares a similar characteristic, voltage capabilities.

With that said, what pot do you have? And are you suggesting that you booted at 7.2ghz?

I use K10stat for most of my "tweaking."

    Custom pots from ln2cooling.com.

Madd22 also uses a pot very similar to mine also from ln2cooling.com

    See a pattern now?

Not really ln2 pots though, LHE pots.

nah I boot low, booting high just degrades chips. The fsb was set in bios, validation made with straight shot from k10.

Lol, I am seeing that trend now... Where are my monies?

Also, I agree. I do the same thing for just about everything. I see so many Amd guys booting at bench speeds. I want to pull my hair out.

am i right, that the suicide shots of 7.2ghz are just for one core?

i usually boot low like 18x200 with 1,75-1,85vcore. then set the multiplier of one core to 31,5 by amd-overdrive and then raise the bus in 1mhz-steps till i find the limit. if i know the limit is like 218 i next boot with 215 and try to go a bit higher. then i try this for all cores and multpliers down to 28...

disabling cores didnt bring me further somehow.

btw: whats wrong with the 06 cpu score?
    6500mhz - 4500nb - 8800 cpu score
    6300mhz - 3800nb - 9600 cpu score (without any tweak)

your in XP with NV.........I'm in vista with ATI. CPU score with ati means nothing, we could both bench ati you use XP me use vista and you would still have a worse score

Add a 1000+ to my score if i bench in XP.

I bin in vista, it's tougher on cpu and found many chips that were stable at XXXX speed in XP sucked in vista/7.

Yes that chip only has one good core, rest are junk, I binned it like that though.

The other chip is binned for all cores balanced. Every core will do about 7 gig.

Rare you find a single chip that can win in all 2d/3d categories for a cpu class

I assume you're talking of Ln2 cooling, right?

i see your intention: release scores, looking inconspicuous, but once you change the os, you drop the bombs

Yes the chips are so random. The one 3d chip i found is such an oddity, every core does really well exact same speed and the NB is decent.

Most amd chips have cores all over the place, in excess of a 200 mhz variance between cores.

Thubans are really really bad like this.

Okay. Thanks. I just assumed you meant ln2 because my 555 takes all the DIce categories easily. I would imagine once I get colder, the core variances will start to show for real, like you mentioned.
