There was another recent build here with nice idea that can be reused - to use similar plate for waterpaths to make tubing more neat. But otherwise i wouldn't go for such. Looks are superb & top notch, but there are lot of small electronic details on motherboard that might cool worse with all air-flow covered to them.

Personally though, I think you should go with the black bitspower rotary fittings instead of the sliver, the mix just doesn't clash well in my eyes.
    Other than that bravo
    Thnx,
The fittings gonna be exchange, the silver fittings are just to get everything in place

    Update: Midplate & Noise reduction

Last days did some thinking about the hdd/ssd bays. used for this the original Haf bay, cut it in 2 pieces

One for the ssd's and one for the hdd's

    Bay 1 for the ssd

    Bay 2 for the hdd
Hmmm my new friend, Mr. Gorillatorch, helped me a lot lately with my build

    Again bay 2

    Gonna place them like this

    Bay 2 installed

And bay 1 beneed the slimeline dvd drive.

Have made a bay for the slimline dvd-rw

    fits perfectly

just about this, need to do some little things to it, to make it look better, but for now.....

Cut out a piece for the dvd

    Fits also

The opening for the power cable to my gpu's

For the noise reduction i used some isolation tape

And grind a piece of my ceiling plate

    Vry nice piece i think

This is all beeing covered with a midplate 5mm black acryl

    like this

Replaced the original rivets for countersunk rivets.

    The original rivet

countersunk rivets with tape for protection

Whole back is finished for another idea

For this update i wanna thank Mr. Sammie from cK-leds

He has given my some very nice led strips

    Green silicone strips

    Green Smd strips

    Uv purple Smd strips

And he's given my a nice suprice..... a nice RGB strip

Not gonna use them in this mod, but maybe the next one to come

also did some nice things with my pumps. Sawn 4 pieces of acryl.

    2 x uv green acryl 5mm

    And 2 x Black acryl 5mm

    Need to polish them

Sawn the green acryl one more time with 4 feet instead of 2

    black acryl under the pump

my 2 pumps ready to go

Looks nice i think on my black midplate. and placed a single led in it

Placed in the Haf with the led

And some pics in the dark

    Thats it for today

    Grtzzz.

some craftmen skills you have there! loving the dvdrom

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    Update

I've frosted the uotside from the acryl, and put some led strips around the motherboard

Placed the cover, still need to get the strips right

But it's a nice effect already

Have some disappointment about the solid tubes

    "Old" Tube

    "new" Tube

doesnt fit anymore in the Bitspower fittings, so need to change plans. So i put the new solid tube in the Tygon tube

Have tested it first, and looked really nice

So did some sawning and fitting, and here,s the result

    Everything almost straight

Have to exchange some silver for black fittings

Lights out please.......nice, but need to buy some extenders for a straight line

But the most lines are straight

    Total shot

Pump 1 plugged in, only pump 2 now

Reservoirs also nice with the green light

Next step, buying BP black fittings and the acid green fluid

So did some shopping by Highflow.nl
Black and silver again for a new idea
And i bought 6 BP zilveren L-Rotery,s second hand for a really good price

For the link between the cpu and the motherboard i used silver fittings andextenders, this looks really good woth the nickel blocks from the gpu

still need to put a small link between the cpu and the NB

Did some cable managment, looks messy, but first things first

    The inside is better looking

    Mdpc sleeving always nice

And the cpu power, 4 x 4 blocks

a good friend have helped me with my slotloader dvd-rw
He was really fast with putting this together again......... respect

2 wires soldered on it, and tested it

    looks really nice, i think

My reset button is now the eject button for the slotloader on the aquaero

Mr. wwwicked thanks a lot, i owe you one

Some stuff from my favorite shop HighFlow Computer Cooling Shop - Uw shop voor PC waterkoeling, luchtkoeling, modding, behuizingen en gaming!

I,ve seen this fluid by the L3p desk, what looks really good

Feser One Cooling Fluid - UV ACID GREEN

Black extenders, have bought a lot of these

    Bitspower G1/4 Matt Black IG1/4 Extender BP-MBWTP-C40

    A rally nice rotery

Bitspower G1/4 Matt Black Dual Rotary 90 Degree IG1/4 Adapter BP-MB90R2

    And more rotery's

    Bitspower Matt Black fittings

    And some shiny silverware

    Bitspower Silver Shiny Fittings

I had to extend my Aquaero from the dispaly.

    Power on, and works fine

And placed all the new fittings

    straight behind the powercables

New black rotery's on the EK bridge

    And the pumps connected

1 tube underneed the radiator bay

The only thing now is to connect everything togheter and do some more wiring

But have space enough for this.

I hope to put the acid green fluid this weekend in, and show you some pics of this

    Grtzzz.

Update: filled it up and cables

Did al the wirring voor the aquaero
And some updates for the firmware and software for the aquaero

    The 140mm fan works fine.

    The other fans also

    filling loop 1. No problems

    Tubes on top

    straight to the pump

The fan is really coming out nice with the uv light

Because there is a solid tube inside the Tygon tube, there's a lot of air inside

Uv strips are really nice , and a good effect

Uv acryl is very nice also

    and filled loop 2

    Beautiful pomps i think

Looks good with the green acryl under need the ppumps

    And a total shot

    Grtzzz.

I love how you covered the mobo! It ties the whole case together and gives it a nice flow. I'm not to thrilled with the motherboard color in my build so I think I might use that same idea. Amazing build so far! Subbd*

Stunning build, Kier! One question for you though. Do you know where one could source the glowpads that you used in your build?

    Update:

Hi there, like promised pics by daylight

Was a lot of pushing and pulling

For the airflow behind the acryl and the motherboard i have placed some nice small fans
    witch blow air up

They blow air against a small metal stripe, and bend the flow down, behind the acryl

    Works perfectly

And i have placed some green strips for the frontbay

    everything placed in order

Have sawn small pieces of green 3mm acryl

think it looks nice with the black top

But need to frost it some more

    Cover the behind also

Gonna think it over some more

And last but not least, the side panel

    Sawning time

Used a 5mm green acryl again

Need to be shappen some more

    And placed it back

Looks fine with uv led strips

But needs to be placed it in the right direction

After this i did some thinking, and think it's a shame that the gpu's are not fully in sight
    So did some sawning again.

Better like this, i think. The idea is to use the green acryl piece i've made, to place it in the other side panel

    so, to be continued

    Greetings

Looking awesome! I think it was a wise choice to nix the green piece over the GPUs. Looks much cleaner without it there.

    Update

    Hello everybody,
the other side of the case,(other sidepanel) did some sawning and grinding

It took some time, but almost finished

Have used the green acryl from the other side, never throw something away

    Recycling again

Need to shappen the slots some more

And did some more small things. Maked the cover for the display again, but now with aluminium
Better then the 3mm black acryl

    some more grinding and sawning

    put the grey display in

only paint the cover again and it's finished

Have used the same black aluminium for the sli cover

    Mdpc bolts in it

nothing more for this cover, think it's finished like this

Also did the final placing for the led strips
Placed with the uv strips a green stripe, just to remove the purple color

Looks nice on the mesh panel

Lines on the motherboard cover are very good visible now

Need to shappen the cables some more, but almost there

Thats it folks, see you next time

    grtzz.

What if you painted the Dominator fins in alternating between no paint and neon green?
